Most of his fights if not all of them since he stepped into the welter weight class were catch weight fights. If the weight didn't play apart to his sucess at this level then why continue to fight at a catch weight?

There is truth to what he says. DLH gained no weight and looked dead. The catchweight for Cotto was 145. People said "Well, he was 146 for Clottey so 1 pound is nothing" but Cotto if I remember came in at 144. Marg had the weight at 150. The fighters spend more time worrying of getting to the weight than on fight strategy. Only Clottey was allowed to be at full weight 147, wonder why? :huh

    Cotto - Not weight drained...
    Clottey - Not weight drained...
    Margarito - Not weight drained...
    Hatton - Not weight drained...

DLH is the only one whom he might be righty about, but that was his own stupid fault, even though he claimed he was stroing at 147.

:huh Cotto did NOT weigh 144. How do you know what they worry about? The truth is, you don't.

Cotto could have been fighting at 154 and Pacquiao still whips his ass. None of the fights Pac has fought so far except the DLH fight have been decided by weight.

More sour grapes from the Golden Girl ... I respect DLH's career and the fact that he took on all challengers but he is such a f'n *****. He was the one who wanted to fight Pacquiao thinking he'd be able to beatup on a little guy whose a P4P talent and get some recognition back as a top tier fighter. He agreed to fight at the welterweight limit so he only has himself to blame if he feels he was to weakened to compete. He should've fought Cotto or Margarito at 154 if he wanted to fight name guys at a higher weight. The whole thing blew up in his face and now he's crying about how he was weight drained... and than he jumped right on the Mayweathers' steroid bandwagon too... what a f'n chump.

De La Hoya blames the nutritionist for not gaining the weight.

DLH couldnt even come up with the weight drain excuses for himself. Straight after the fight he and his trainer said the fight was fine...it was only after everyone suggested the weight thing that he jumped on it.

Again, blaming that on Pac is like Pac blaming someone he didnt win cos he didnt train hard enough, its your own bloody fault.

Remember, Pac did not drag you down to 147 either. You were on your way to 147 for a rematch with Floyd, hence why your last fight was dun dun dun, a catchweight fight with Steve Forbes at 150. You dragged Pac up from 135 to 147 and got your ass whooped.
