they have been decided by weight and the fact the figthers were all past their primes. other than clottey, who is absolute ****, some of the fighter were actually shot after valiantly fighting in too many wars.

Cotto is through. He'll beat an overweight and over-the-hill mayorga and will then get blasted out by Cintron, SM or Angulo.

The protected Alvarez(who probably has no chin)and Chavez jr could probably beat cotto right now.

DLH was getting hit with lefts down the pipe all night, that wouldn't change at 154lbs.

But he didn't knock him out did he. He peppered a static, stick thin De La Hoya with everything he had and still couldn't KO him. Hell, a strong wind could have snapped Oscar in half that night.

I don't buy it. Oscar looked bad in that fight because he was slow and couldn't match Pacman's speed. Oscar was the guy who was seen as handpicking a smaller guy who was great and Pacman handled the weight better than he thought he would. Now he is trying to use the weight stuff to explain his loss. He was beaten to the punch from the first round on. Weight loss?
Most people thought he would walk over Pacman. Now it is Pacman who somehow took advantage of Oscar. Nonsense. Pacman was too fast and good for Oscar that night. These guys who use their own weight gain and trouble at the weight for excuses should give part of their purse back since if they say they were not in shape, why are they being paid top dollar? The excuses are nonsense. They come out after the fight happens and they lose.

Duran was the king of these kinds of excuses. When he won against mediocre guys he never had training problems- he seemed to always train for the mediocre guys. But when he fights the greats he apparently didn't train. For Benitez,Leonard and Hearns all of a sudden he didn't train well. Why? Excuse. He lost and he needed and excuse. Why would he not train for the greats and train for the mediocre?? It would have been the opposite story in reality. Train harder for the greats. People actually bought Duran's excuses. That is more amazing than Duran making the excuses.

Enough to make him a *****? Or enough of a reason for him to badmouth Manny? Ever think that all these people questioning Manny really feel that way?

Damn Oscar is a pathetic disgrace with the bull**** he spews as a promoter. He was the promoter of the fight, and the world knows he made the fight at 147 as no-one would have bought a lightweight going up to 154.

Plus the **** only had to lose 3 lbs from his previous fight. He probably came in 145 to be faster and lighter on his feet, and also because he was looking past Pac and looking to fight another little guy in Hatton next. He got his ass handed to him, as per usual whenever he fought an elite fighter in their prime, and now he's making excuses. **** him.

The word "weight drained" is thrown around way too often here.
