PBF's "check hook" vs Cotto's chin

Assume Cotto get's out of position, and PBF smokes him with
his "check hook".

Does Cotto go down & out, or does he then get really p.o.'ed and destroys PBF?

 

Cotto doesn't come in like a dumbass, lunging a left hook when his opponent has the angle on him.

You gotta know what the **** a check hook is before you start talking all this ****.

 

Cotto Definetely goes down....but would probaly get up...

 

Cotto would be out if he got hit with it. But Cotto wouldn't get hit with a check hook. He'd get hit with a laser guided left hook after he missed with a right hand. And he'd be chicken dancing like back in the Corley fight.

 

cotto doesnt lunge though.

He might go down he might not. Cotto recovers much better than Hatton does.

Yeah, I don't know many other guys besides Hatton who make a habbit of dropping their right hand like that to throw a leaping left hook. I mean, alot of people would go down if they got hit with that punch, but how many fighters would put themselves in a postion to get hit like that?

 

All day! and if he gets up precision punching will do what others that knocked him down couldn't do!

 

Cotto goes down, but he gets right back up.

 

i dont think cotto would lunge in with a left hook without a guard up to get caught by floyd.

you got to understand the hook floyd caught hatton with was a perfect counter which would probably knock any fighter out because of the position they are in.

 

Cotto's recovery time is quicker than Hatton's..
