Lets be clear, Pacquiao is facing the same old Mosley that Floyd fought!

Floyd's last 2 cheesy fights he made the opponent do something they never did before in their entire careers. The greats are the ones who should have the disadvantage more proving Floyd is more an entertainer than a real ATG

JMM - Makes Marquez come up 2 weight classes to fight him. JMM never fought @ 140 let alone 147 in his life. To add insult to injury Floyd put on 2 extra pounds and paid JMM 600k.

But all the mainstream fans remember is he beat JMM and Shane easily. And people wonder why he runs scared from Manny like he did Cotto and all the other brave warriors with 2 handed power arsenals not afaird to fight fire with fire.

 

Margo was a 4-1 favorite after he just destroyed Cotto and Mosley looked sloppy with Mayorga. Mosley pulled off a huge upset that night, people forget that

 

mosley cant say he was never given the chance to prove his worth.he may not got the fights when he wanted hem but at the end of the day he got them.he loss to mayweather now he gets manny.what you gone do mosley win or lose ?

 

Wrong! Pac is fighting an older Mosley. It Floyd Pac should be fighting. Sigh! If only Floyd could grow some balls, we could witness a once in lifetime fight.

 

Yes I agree it's going to be the same exact Shane Mosley. The only thing is Floyd fought Shane when people thought he was still dangerous. Pac is fighting Shane knowing he is getting the same no stamina fighter that Floyd fought. That being said, it's still a very intriguing fight. Not because there is any drama to whose going to win, but it's interesting to see how Pac beats Shane compared to how Floyd beat Shane.

 

Pac is cherry picking an even older Mosely, who has confirmed after two horrible performances that he has only fumes left in the tank.

I think it will be a good barometer to gauge tough it will be vs Floyd. Mosley is older now obviously, but he's stayed active since his fight with Floyd. If anything, he's gotten back in shape (probably better too) and will not be fighting after an almost 2 layoff.

 

The difference in this fight compared to Mayweather is that Pacman likes to brawl more than Floyd. That works in Shane's favor since he has speed and strength, and he couldn't use that much in his fight with Mayweather except in the early rounds-and he did hurt Floyd. If Pacman uses his boxing and fights Shane the way he fought Oscar (if he can outbox him that easily) then Shane has no chance. But if Shane gets Pacman to brawl like Cotto did this fight is very interesting. I pick Manny to win, but Shane vs. Manny is interesting.

Totally agree with this...plus Mosley was more confident around the time he fought Mayweather. So PAc is not facing the same Mosley in my opinion!

 

haahaha laugh it up ***** but the fact is I actually predicted that Berto would beat Mosley in January 2010 (before he was pushed aside so that Floyd could get first dibs) and said that Floyd would probably pick Mosley the whole time and then when the fight was made said Floyd would cruise to a UD.
