I would love love love AA to win this one. Cos I like AA and cos it more or less hands Froch the Super 6. I think it is seriously unlikely, but I'm clinging on to some hope that, the kind of character Abraham has, he might just produce something special cos he knows he needs to. What that would look like though I dunno... It is tough to see how he wins
Gonna be funny pulling this thread 3 years from now when Ward is ATG p4p#1, and people are calling him the greatest inside fighter to ever live. I love all you guys. You couldnt see talent if it hit you with a truck (let alone have the balls to actually have an opinion on it).
Calzaghe did beat Hopkins and Jones in US.Pascal for example, who is current lineal LHW did not beat on oder Hopkins in his town.We have a measure here. As a comparison Calzaghe did beat Bika than Ward did. So if Calzaghe is only good, then Ward, by now, is only average.
the only reason this thread would be great to pull up in a few years time is because is it will have ignorant, deluded, narrowminded ring comic / hbo puppetts like you in it who spend their pathetic little lives being brainwashed by the bull**** in the wrote/spoken in the american media without a brain to think for themselves :-dead:dead:dead:-( in 3 years time, ward will be thoroughly exposed as just another american hype job and will be firmly sat on the american hypejob scrap-heap alongside the likes of jeff lacy, kelly pavlik, tarver, dawson, zab judah, jermain taylor etc etc :deal
I am not sure about this. Having said that, when 46 makes a bold prediction like this, you minions should listen. :yep 46 has a great track record of elite level predictions. :happy
I still believe in Abraham. I hope he has learned from his defeats and cause a great upset against Ward
:deal This is true Predator. How can anyone forget my Nostradamus-esque prediction that Paul Williams would get his Chin Shattered one year before the event. :thumbsup I'm telling you people, get your money on The King. He is absolutely seething and is seeking redemption which he will take out on Ward's bullet dome. :fire:fire
A warm Team Elite welcome to HEADBANGER. :happy:happy Looks like it's down the road from Jokeland, some place called Carlston or some bollocks. It will be the usual Ward affair, cherry-picked judges, corrupt refs, small boxing ring. All that goes out the window once Abers destroys Ward's Glass Jaw.:deal
Look what Dirrell did to him?! lol Dirrell was on his way to getting knocked the **** out before he decided to end the fight like a ***** You have not seen a lot of boxing if he's the greatest inside fighter you've ever seen, either that or you're a big fan of headbutts and holding. Hypejob Ward has looked mediocre at best in his last 2 fights, he needed an old man in Glen Johnson to finish off Allan Green and Bika made him look very very average.
YOu have no idea how much i want that to happen. He has a very slim chance. But a guy with power is always dangerous.
Indeed. Winning the first four rounds against Abraham is a given, so it's to be expected that the fight was in favour of Dirrell at the time after the good middle period too, but anyone who thinks the fight was a formality is insane. Abraham may have been well down on the cards but he was catching Dirrell. If it was a 15 round fight, I'm sure Dirrell would have been knocked out. Would Abraham have had enough time? I'm not sure about that but it definitely would have been an intriguing finish and I think Dirrell knew that, which is why he took the easy way out.
46, I sure do hope so...I am so sick and tired of that Ward's "hard to watch" style of fighting. I am rooting for King Arthur full force!! Love the avatar, by the way!!
You would call Ward "glass jawed" if he got ko'd by one of the hardest punchers of recent times? Ok, I was just asking. Not like Ward ever got his chin tested by Miranda and didn't fold. All jokes aside I do think that the loss to Froch still bothers Abraham and he needs to work more on his offense. I thought he did go well to the body in his last fight but lets see what he does against Ward who's a skilled fighter. I admit that it would be a site to see Abraham ko Ward but that really isn't as low of a possiblity as people would make it though it would still be shocking. I just want the best man that night to win. Abraham needs to know how to wrestle his opponents and fight inside so if Ward tries to go inside that would backfire horribly but it's late and unlikely to happen for AA.
