From what i gathered Victor is an ******* who puts up a front. Robert Garcia lets both these kids in his home, lets them live there, Robert Garcias father Eduardo decides to adopt Ortiz and then Ortiz decides to leave and talk **** about how poor of a trainer Robert is, then roberts money hungry brother danny garcia goes over to train ortiz atsch
I think Ortiz is suffering from an identity crisis, he doesn't know whether he wants to be the second coming of Oscar de la Hoya or Fernando Vargas. Seems like a bit of a knob to me, a recent video contains him accusing Rios of trying to get fame off his back and only wanting the fight because it's a big payday. Little **** hasn't achieved anything in the sport yet and was badly shown up in his first big fight..... he's very fortunate that his promoter has a cosy thing going on with the execs at HBO, because he's earning an awful lot for being an undercard fighter. Hopefully the fight gets made and Rios wins. His mocking of Roach was poor form but other than that I can't say a bad word about him.
There are a few elie seckbach videos i've seen of him interviewing mutual friends of the 2 and they say BOTH were thugs and would get into fights all the time in oxnard and victors nice guy personality is a new thing to them.
Awesome. I've not seen that first video before, but I'll watch it later with sound. And check out Ortiz emulating his hero, Vargas, with the hair. He looks exactly like him. The video with Garcia is good. He comes across as a really nice guy. Rios should learn a thing or two from him. Ortiz may have done wrong in the past, but I still like him more than Rios.
have you seen him fight? a very well schooled boxer, nothing like your typical mexican, mind you i've only seen one of his fights.
Robert Garcia is a hell of a guy for letting both Rios and Ortiz (and who knows how many others) live in his house.
