...post #49. ...post #80. You're right, street shouldn't be spelled with a capital S. I agree that AA would put Ward on ***** street if, for whatever reason, Ward chose to reduce his workrate and stay at midrange.
I think Midrange would be where AA would want the fight to be. Dirrell used his reach and speed to keep AA at far range. Froch used his reach and physical strength to keep AA at far range. Ward has the reach, speed and physical strength advantage over AA, but not how Dirrell and Froch did. AA should do better VS Ward than he did Vs Froch and Dirrell. I think Ward would either be out of range or right up close, if he stays at Mid range and tries to slug it out he would be opened and put on ***** street. Abraham has the problem of just covering up when his opponent unloads, but at Mid Range I think AA might fancy his chances to land some sort of counter. See my thread called:- Abraham would put Ward on ***** street http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=271637
I ****ing hope so, the Andre Ward show is slowly turning into a joke with all these hometown venues/judges/referees. 46-0, this is a special moment. The first time we've ever agreed on anything.
Very disappointing that Ward is fighting in his own country yet again, and if he beats AA it looks like the final will be in his own country as well!! Providing AA has taken this fight seriously and still has the desire I think AA will beat the overrated Ward. However, one sided beatings can really dent a good fighter who is never the same again, but we will have to see if this has happened to AA
Wh dont you Ward haters bet on this since you're so confident. As usual...just spread blind hate without even breacking down the fight! There is no way that Ward will let AA predictable ass tee off on him...This is gonna be a schooling.
Queen arthur is so demoralised he may just quit on his stool after 5, his face at the end of the froch fight says a thousand words, carl froch competely outboxed me wtf, im crap
ward will stay at distance and win this fight rather easily. he is just in another league than abraham. then the great fight vs froch.
I think it sucks that Arthur's tune-up turned out the way it did. He desperately need some good rounds of boxing, but he did not get them, and it certainly was not his fault.
