Matthew Hatton's world title fight here was in jeopardy late on Friday night when his Mexican opponent Saul Alvarez weighed in heavier than the agreed catchweight limit.
Alvarez was given two hours to shed the 1.8lbs required for him to scale 10st 10lbs. Ray Hatton, father of both Matthew and Ricky, said: 'They wanna do a deal financially but we are insisting he makes the weight. If not, the fight is off.'
If so that would be a huge disappointment for both brothers.
Hatton weighed in at six pounds under the limit.

They'd be ****ing foolish to back out because Alvarez is off weight. He's lucky to be even in this fight, who says one will come up again...

That catchweight was at 150? Hatton weighed 144? Is that right?

6lbs under the limit, the limit being 150.

148 does make alot more sense tho

  12. According to Laz's thread in the swamp:

    Alvarez 151.8
    Hatton 149.6
