That's right...Alvarez let Baldomir keep the penalty money...this is a good kid.

 

Dude, Alvarez can't control who GBP puts him in the ring with...Alvarez also had nothing to do with fighting for the WBC title on Sat night...now it is his fault that he didn't make weight, but it's obvious he tried...151.8 is much closer to 150 than 154.

All he can do is bust up the guy GB puts in front of him...if he does that, he's done all he can do.

 

I'm not hatin' on the man. I'm saying how does it feel to get sold a screw job? I'm sorry for singling out Mexican's b/c like any boxing fan I don't much like watching a con-job farce, I don't expect them to either. I'm just interested to see how GBP's target audience for this fighter feels about how this whole fight has been managed.

Btw prior to this fight I didn't much have a problem with the way his career's been managed. Fighting guys like Baldomir when you don't have much of an amateur career and are still young is the right way to develop....but this whole title thing was IMO a premature money grab by people I doubt have the kid's best interests at heart.

 

Hatton should pull out.

 

Matthew should pull out.

Alvarez made no effort to lose the extra weight during the two hours he was given.

 

Look, this is the beautiful thing about boxing...the truth always prevails...in the words of Tedy Atlas: "The truth comes to you pretty quickly in the squared circle".

 

BTW, i'm not offended about the Mexican thing...I'm an American...I am hispanic, but I'm an American.

Anyway...if he's not the real deal, we will quickly find out. If he is the genuine article, this argument will be a moot point.
