What embarrassment CHB :huh I said Bolling would bash him and I was wrong....so what?

So are you joining the tipping comp? or are you just going to continue bagging people for having a go?

What are you afraid of CHB?

Don't tell me that selective memory of yours is playing up again?

I have no interest in joining the tipping comp Ash - but thanks for the invite - if that's what it was.

    Caparello defeats Bolling

by Ray Wheatley–World of Boxing- March 4th 2011

Australian light heavyweight contender Blake Caparello (6-1, 2 KOs) scored the biggest win of his career when he outpointed former world IBO super middleweight challenger Michael Bolling (12-1, 10 KOs) over eight rounds at the Melbourne Pavillion in Flemington, Victoria, Australia on Friday. Caparello, boxing from the southpaw stance, dropped Bolling in round one with a left hand bomb. Bolling boxed aggressively but the more effective punches were being delivered by Caparello who consistently connected with solid left crosses and left uppercuts.

Bolling got back into the fight in round seven when he connected with a solid combo to the head that visibly hurt Caparello, but he survived to hear the bell. Bolling was hurt by a left hand bomb in round eight but came back in the final moments of the contest to connect with accurate head shots. Scores: 76-75, 77-74, 78-71.

Australian welterweight champion Victor Chernous (11-2, 4 KOs) outscored New Zealand puncher Steve Heremaia (17-5-1, 7 KOs) over eight rounds. Heremaia boxed aggressively in round one but the national champ proved too skill-full in the following rounds as he outworked his opponent. Heremaia was the stronger but Chernous had the better ring skills as he continually outboxed the importation. Heremaia always looked dangerous but had trouble penetrating the excellent defense of the champ who won by scores: 79-74, 77-76, 77-77. Chernous had former IBF world junior lightweight champion Barry Michael in his corner.

Australian heavyweight contender Michael “The Iron Rhino” Kirby (8-3-1, 6 KOs) 273 lbs and Clarence Tillman (7-7-1, 5 KOs) 295 lbs from the USA, slugged it out over six rounds. Kirby, 35 years, was hurt in round one but came back to outwork the 6’5 New Zealand based American. Tillman, 33 years, tired in rounds five and six but finished on his feet to lose by scores of 59-55, 59-55, 59-55. Kirby, 6’4, had leading Queensland promoter Angelo Di Carlo in his corner and also cut eye specialist, Brian Wilmont.

Australian light middleweight champion Pat Rullo (12-2-1, 2 KOs) outworked Brad Pole (2-2, 1 KO) of New Zealand over six rounds. Rullo controlled the action in most of the rounds as he boxed aggressively and connected with solid head and body shots. The Kiwi came to fight but lacked the technique or firepower to worry the national 154 pound champion. Scores: 60-54, 60-54, 59-55.

130 pounders Elliott (5-2-2, 1 KO) and Medoro (0-2) boxed to a draw over four rounds. Scores Samantha Bulner 39-38 (Elliott), Tony Maretta 39-37 (Medoro) , Malcolm Bulner 38-38. Elliott seemed unlucky.

Though you falsely claim you don't post in Mundine threads - YOU DO POST IN MUNDINE THREADS ASH - have a look around here, it's plain to see!

And trust you to mention Mundine in this thread - you just can't help yourself can you?

But hey, nuthuggers are here for their embarrassment and our amusement.

And as you've said of yourself here at ESB:

'once a nuthugger, always a nuthugger.'
