Sultan was never a power puncher at HW; his power is only average at top level. He overwhelmed average oppnents with his speed and punch output that led to stoppages.

Ibragimov sents Briggs to the canvas. Hard hitting Vitali could not do this.

    Sparring stories who cares?

Toney Thompson knocked down Haye in sparring! Does that mean anything?

Timur not Sultan. Timur is horrible. This kind of stupidity isn't suprising coming from a Haye fan though. You realize you're a dumbass right?

"David Haye is exciting but he's a little too light. David Haye will be a very beautiful fight with Sultan. I saw David Haye sparring five years ago with Timur Ibragimov. I saw how fast David Haye is. But he's not a very dangerous puncher"

That one is actually factual though and i do buy the possibility of TT being able to do that to him in a real fight.

Yes it too. Thompson makes a very good fight against Wlad, he is a very underrated southpaw.

Your problem is that you assess the quality of a fighter based purely on how well they do against Wlad. You need to realise that Wlad is not a great barometer because he's overly cautious and nearly always drags his opponents into the mid to late rounds - and in your eyes if someome goes that far with Wlad then they must be a decent fighter. No. There are some fighters who would have walked through Thompson in a round.

That's not a dig at Wlad btw. You need to see the the bigger picture and not asume Wlad is the be all and end all . . . .

Wlad put Chisora was in the mix after all agreements where made with Haye the fight was about to be signed, Then Wlad throws Chisora in the mix 8 weeks before knowing that he cannot fight both(this has now been shown as the truth) Haye says pick me or Chisora. Wlad picks Chisora. Fight Off.

Weeks later Wlad contacts Haye and the fight is about to be made again, with the Chisora fight supposed to be off, after Wlad said he was a man of his word and would give Chisora his shot.

Why would Wlad cancel the fight if he said he could easily face Chisora 8 weeks before Haye, which was the problem in the previous negotiations.

And how do you know Chisora will be adequately compensated, do you know this for a fact. After 2 training camps, two fight pull outs. Hes been let down massivley.

The fact is you could not defend Haye for pulling out of the two fights with the brothers(even though he thought he was getting ripped off in the contract, and has earned himself a better deal)

And you cannot defend Wlad here, no way

I genuinely believe klit huggers are the worst boxing fans because of their hypocrisy.

Haye rightly gets criticised for choosing harrison over wlad.

Wlad does not get criticised for choosing derek over haye.

Haye rightly gets criticised for breaking contracts.

Wlad does not get criticised for breaking contracts.

The truth is haye spent two years two years being a loud mouth doing just enough to be seen as a credible number 3 heavyweight. But he is clearly pursuing the fight this time round.

When wlad signed for derek he put himself in a lose lose. He either ducked haye or fukd derek.

I am happy that we are seeing a unification fight.

I am unhappy at the way derek has had to put his career on hold for wlad to be let down twice. This isn't a big name, he can't recoup that money in his next fight. Last time wlad cancelled derek got no money, hopefully a termination clause was inserted this time.

No, he didn't. Briggs wasn't hurt once in the fight.
Jeff Mayweather changed his style - Ibragimov fought very cautiously in the "big" fights. This change made him win the Briggs fight. I'm sure Briggs would've knocked him stiff if he decided to go to war with him.
    No difference against Wlad.

I agree in principle but I also think Wlad is entitled to a tuneup. He wants to defend at least 3-4 times a year, unlike Haye.

I have to say I feel a bit sorry for Chisora in all this, well, about as sorry as I could be for such a dickhead anyway. That said, he is nowhere ner ready for Wlad and a brutal knockout would have had a big impact on his career that could take years to get over if over.

As for Wlad-Haye, I have to laugh at people saying with any certainty that Wlad will knock Haye out early. Wlad's track record over the past few years has shown he will fight a long-game, even against opponents who have zero chance against him, so I doubt he will change for someone who he knows can put him on ***** street. Haye is the better bet at getting an early KO, purely because of his style.

As for people mentioning who has knocked who down in sparring, sparring means **** when it comes to proper fights. People like Pac goad their sparring opponents into knocking them out so they can work on their defence and durability. They invite knockdowns, so it's hardly surprising if they do get knocked down eventually, especially when their sparring partner knows they are in no danger themselves.

Either way, I'll just be glad to see this fight happen. The HW division has long been in need of an exciting match-up, on paper at least.
