How is it 'blatant'? Does it not strike you that the type of opponents he's fought since Watson are stiff upright robots with moderate ability that are easy to confound with the tiniest idea of range and movement? Performance is equal to your own performance and that which your opponent allows you to perform to. Hatton did not suddenly improve out of sight miraculously post-Watson.

Nuz whatever he's called was a pile of dog ****. He had a pretty record but he was ****.

The Matthew of today isn't the Matthew of a year ago. He's improved as a fighter, he seems a better person and he deserves a bit of credit for both.

maybe matton will outbox the bigger slower alverez who isnt all that hard to hit,but alverez is pretty powerful.

Maybe matton needs to try and tire alverez our and try wear him down and soften up for late body KO.

ile root for matton, hes the rightfully the underdog and jsut there as an opponent, but i wish him to atleast put up a fight and expose alverez.

    Lazy cliche...

How will Hatton get "exposed" tonight? Most people don't think he's up to the job. This isn't the General Forum.:-(

I think Alvarez is over rated but he will still beat Hatton comfortably. Hatton is domestic class and has already over achieved. But, fair play to him he has keep plugging away and has got himself a big fight.

Yeah I hope so and for 2 reasons:

    1) British fighter fighting for a world title

    2) the total bull**** that Team Alvarez and Oscar have been trying to pull and have pulled in the build up.

a proper sensible post :good i'm sick of the non patriots on here. its that attitude that makes us brits weak.we pat a loser on the back and yet u get dickheads slaggin matthew and bullin alverez up to be king kong, dont forget alverez might have power but he's got **** all head movement.if hatton had natural power this would b an easy fight.100% behind mh.

not to mention he (Ginger Baws) maybe drained and can come into the ring any heavier than 160.

if Hatton wins tonight then the Yanks will be casting a slightly envious eye across the pond at us.

Leave it out....he's been overrated a fair bit in some quarters recently and it be nice seeing him get soundly beaten tonight :happy. He's done well to get to European level but i don't like him or his bro and enjoy watching both get beat and exposed because both IMO delude themselves a fair bit. No harm in that to an extent but cannot stand either of them.

He believes he's that good and hopefully Saul will expose his limitations and leave him in no doubts he should go back to his level which ain't to bad for a very average fighter.
