No at that's the point! With age comes problems! You become slower more fatigued he punch resistance will be worse! So if he could be knocked out then he definatly can be knocked out now! That the logic of the human body we get worse with age
Only Wlad's completely changed his still and fights in a way that completely negates that aging trend, he also has shown no significant signs of aging as is.
Vlad wins. I do think Hayes speed and power can cause problems for Vlad but in my opinion hes a little too wild when hes lunging in, fighting Ruiz and Valuev he got away with it but i dont think Klitchko will let him get away with it.
Everyone knows hes a better fighter, hes changed his game, Hes more defensive minded. But the fact is the weaknesess are there and waiting to be exposed again.
Very good post :good I have to say my personal thoughts are the fight goes 6-7 RNDs with a Wald victory. I do also believe that Haye could be his toughest opponent to date. The thing is Haye has not been tested at heavyweight yet in my eyes. If the fight happens and Haye steps up this will be Hayes toughest fight at heavyweight, (Don't think anyone can deny that). Can Haye handle that? Only by this fight happening will we ever know. So both parties should just sign and get the fight on for all fans regardless of who you want to win. JUST GET IT DONE! Peace
I don't like to pick winners so much as what I think the likelihoods are. 70-30 Wlad, imo... Maybe 60-40. I do not believe Haye would win a decision here. He either wins big by knockout or is not likely to win. Probably something more like this, if you want it really broken down from my perspective: Wlad by knockout: 45% Haye by knockout: 30% Wlad by decision: 15% Haye by decision: 5% Draw: 4% DQ/NC/ND/etc.: 1% If those numbers ended up not totaling 100% it's a combo of sleepy and naturally **** with numbers. Sue me.
It looks like I personally killed the thread by trying to give a completely straight, unbiased answer. :sad2
depends if haye can consistenly slip the jab and if he puts enough pressure on wlad early because if he goes for the knockout very early then he will have a good chance
Either have a good chance, but I give Wlad the edge. The difference is that I can see either stopping/KOing the other; however, I can't see Haye outpointing Wlad, while I CAN very easily see Wlad outpointing Haye. My one worry would be that it became a very cautious fight, because both have the power to seriously scramble the other with one punch.
:good I agree i can either see a massice early blowout by Haye, or a late KO/TKO Wlad or Wlad decision.
What is there on Haye's resume to lead someone to believe he can hang with either of the Klits? Haye will not show for this fight.
Its not whats on Hayes recored that makes us think he can, Its whats on Wlads SANDERS!!! BREWSTER!!! PURITTY!!!
Haye has almost zero power as compared to Wlad. Wlad will walk through everything Haye throughs, and will land a jab that is as hard as Haye's power shots.
