Man I'm hyped to see Middleweight go back to being boxing's glamour divison in a couple years.

We have the young guns like Lemieux, Pirog, Golovkin, Kirkland, Lara

Then you got guys that might fizzle or might make it like JCC Jr, Guerrero, Lee, Angulo, Jacobs, Gaele, N'Jikam, Zbik and Alvarez

and of the course the older fellas that still might kickin around in a couple years like Martinez, Sturm

Then you got possible longshot returns to MW by Abraham, Pavlik, Williams

Also, who knows who else might be making an impact at MW at that point, gonna be a great ride to see who makes it to the top of this heap of young talent in 5-6 years.

Who do you guys think will be King of this exploding division in 5 years time?

haters! haha seriously though tell me one division in boxing that has even remotely that much young talent. Obviously many will fail, not eveyone can be middlweight king but obviously someone will be and if you don't think that man is included on this list you're a ******. The point is there's going to be a lot of great fights between young prospects and contenders over the next few years at Middleweight and seeing who rises to the occasion and who fails is the beauty of it. Buncha haters here haha of course most will fail but that's why we watch boxing to see who climbs to the top and this is an exciting time for middlweight.

I've never even heard of half these no hopers.

Nonetheless, you'd better be right about this. :D

    Don't have to!

Half these fighters, at least, will go nowhere.

I havn't been interested in the middleweights for ages, thats why this thread caught my eye. Although I did see the Sturm Hearns fight...yawn.

Its not entirely my fault I havn't heard of some of these guys yet.

And what about Lemieux, Golovkin, Kirkland, Guerrero? And why Pirog is not talented enough? Are you more talented than him?

    that about sums it up.

i am a die-hard boxing fan but at thie point, i am really more excited about mma. although sanchez is limited and slow as hell, you have to love the blood, guts and glory against kampmann. i had kampmann at -145 and respected the decision.

right now, boxing kind of sucks. alvarez/hatton and mayorga/cotto for titles? ****ing horrible.

hopefully, the sergio martinez fight will be good.

You're having a laugh surely. Boxer punchers hard therefore he will KO everyone. :patsch Great logic. Lemieux is too small, one dimensional to KO the likes of Martinez.
