Can't believe a boxer from my town is on a PPV event. They had a write up on him in the paper, he trains with a crazy ass dude who runs around in fatigues shadow boxing and talking to himself. Dude looks like Nazim except harder.
HBO card doesn't start for about another 45 minutes. Canelo fight won't be fighting in about an hour and 45 minutes or so.
This is the last fight before Judah-Mabuza. It's scheduled for 8 rounds. Judah vs. Mabuza might overlap with Ponce De Leon vs. Broner, but almost certainly not with Alvarez vs. Hatton.
How the hell does the color commentator start talking to a friend in the audice mid broadcast. LOL. Amateur hour.
Thanks for making me a little glad I'm not getting this, man. At least I didn't have to go through that.
Round 1 Mackey keeps himself straightened up and leaned back and dips forward to pop out a couple of right jabs before stepping back out and circling. Simms is coming forward, staying low, and being a bit more forceful with his right jab while still being very careful and swaying back out of the way of Mackey's weak counter attempts. Big 1-2 from Simms coming forward gets Mackey on the move and Simms keeps coming forward in a slow, workmanlike manner. Good head movement from Simms at mid range. Mackey throws a 1-2 at a moving target and Simms catches him with an upjab as he steps off to the right. Big left hand from Simms. Clear round for Tarvis, 10-9
That would be great. :good HBO is a crapshoot. Sometimes the fights start almost as soon as the broadcast does (in this case 10:30) and sometimes there's some :blabla first for like twenty minutes.
