He does look good, especially for 39 years of age.

Hell yeah, Top Rank Live is on, IB is updating the PPV and HBO is 45 minutes away. One hell of a boxing evening for me!

I actually think McCline is doing a good job announcing.

It's actually not. It's where the New Jersey Devils play. I think they just sealed a portion of it off. I know it seats like tens of thousands of people.

    Round 2

Mackey now comes forward and throws some right jabs downstairs. Simms is ducking down and springing up, letting his hands go in mid-motion so Mackey never knows where the shots are coming from. Simms is hitting him with a little of everything: short right hooks, straight left hands, left uppercuts, body shots. Simms is landing very nicely and blocking/evading all while standing about 2" from Mackey...looking a bit like a miniature Toney.

Simms and Mackey are both southpaws apparently. Must be hard to find sparring for such a fight.

Yah so do i, he sounds a little slurry but he makes good point and IMO is better than Lennox ever was.

Have you heard of his twin brother Travis? (once a 154lb champ)

Travis is better, but not by too much. Tarvis is a decent defensive-minded southpaw counter puncher...he just isn't a showstopper.

If Adamek was fighting more be open. Dude draws like 20K on that place. It's nuts the people WORSHIP him here in NJ.

    Round 3

Simms is just staying in close and touching Mackey with both fists, putting very little snap on his shots but landing and scoring efficiently. Mackey is finding no target except the top of Simms' head, which Simms is gladly giving up as he turns his crown toward Mackey and digs low to pick his pocket. Good left uppercut by Simms, and then an overhand left on his way off the ropes. Mackey is just plodding after him and lobbing weak right jabs. Hard left near the kidney by Simms.
