    Hatton is throwing some upper-hooks from the hip and having them sail up past Alvarez's head. Hatton is trying to hold his ground with the jab and some flurries but Alvarez just keeps coming and punching, all tight and technically sound punches thrown with big power. Hatton is pressed into a corner and nailed with an uppercut to the sternum. Alvarez meets a Hatton leaping hook with a counter hook that drops Hatton back down to earth (on his feet).

    There are a lot of welterweights I would like to see Hatton fight. The guy has a ton of heart and decent skills.

    He's bitten off more than he can chew tonight, but I would watch him fight again.
