this is exactly what hatton wants. frustrate the young gun and force him to lose his cool. maybe he'll punch himself out and hatton has the chance to at least make it until the closing bell. at least get alvarez to get a little sloppy and wear himself out a little.

 

Wow, round 7 was quite enjoyable. Hatton is not going to win but I like his courage.

How much more can Hatton take. Canelo is taking his punches. But HATTON backs up everytime Canelo lands.

Alvarez comes forward and curls some lefts from the bottom and rights from over the top in toward Hatton's face. Hatton is blocking and then strafing and slapping when Alvarez stops punching. Hatton keeps leaping in with hooks and getting coutner hooked. Hatton grabs and then lets go and zips away. They clinch and are told to break, and then "GET OUTTA THERE". No nonsense ref. Alvarez lands some vicious hooks to the iron head of Matthew Hatton.
