Benji Marshal punched some guy in the face at 3am in the morning....charged with assault by ploice....what a dunb ass being out at 3am let alone punching some guy atsch

 

I'll be interesting to see once the facts come out....number one concern for me is...did the other guy throw the first one or invade Benji's personal space? If this was the case I think Benji has every right to bomb the dickhead..."the face of league" or not.

 

First things first mate what is he doing out at 3am in the morning?

Marshal is a very high profile player and will be subject to **** bags giving him **** at that time or morning

Whatever happened he needed to walk away....the cops have charged him so its serious....fact is he should never have been out at that time :deal

hmmm...I dunno Ash....it's a free world and everyone should be entitled to grab a feed anytime they want...if Benji was enjoying himself that night and wanted to kick on that's his prerogative.....different story if he was gettin' around pissed and bein' a cheeky kunt himself....I dare say he's been charged because the other ol' mate got his mouth busted open (deservedly so by the sounds of it)....all will be revealed durin' the week no doubt.

 

I have seen Benji out at 3 Wise Monkeys before, and can see how easy it is for high profile people to get into trouble simply because nuffies get their rocks off by wanting to have go's at them.

In this instance, Benji was in line waiting to get served, and when it came to his turn, the guy next to me said to me "****in big time players, pushing in to the front and all!"
The guy was waiting in line until his turn, and did nothing wrong yet some people just want to have cracks at them.

Last Sunday night I saw Bisping there. I doubt many would have given him **** that night.

 

Fair call mate......I just think that the amount of sponsor money that can be lost for a club and the game with a thing like this is huge and its beyond the free will of the player when he impacts the national news and the games revenue

The guy said it to me, referring to Benji. Wasnt ballsy enough to say it to Benji, but I can see why some guys would. These guys get baited all the time, and many of the guys who bait them, want them to bite back.

 

Thats my point...the top 50 players who get the huge cash and are public NRL media profiles like Marshal should be home at 3am....IMO

 

The most bizarre thing to come out of all this Benji incident is that how he didnt manage to break his glass shoulder when punching the guy.

A man is at liberty to go out any time he wants day or night and i dont care how much the **** gets paid..
As long as hes not hurting anyone or pissing it up too severe whos business is it... from what ive seen the guy was returning from a function and stopped off for a bite to eat. certainly not a crime.
Id be embarrased to live in a country where you can racially abuse someone and not expect to cop a flogging for it.

 

He can be out at any time he pleases.
