Overrated power, slow hands, gets hit too much. Nice combinations though

And a lot of heart. Props to Hatton for staying in there. I think everyone expected one they first saw Canelo pop him that Hatton was done.

It's funny how so many random people hyped up canelo and downgraded Hatton, we even had a brit come here and say this is not the best we have to offer from the UK or something all ashamed... jaja and then he doesn't KO hatton and now Canelo is some loser because ESB hyped him up

Well it is true. Hatton is the 3rd best welterweight in Britain.

Duddy is a c minus level fighter so lets not kid ourself. Duddy barely and i meany barely win in a way vs a very shot old Campus for goodness sake. And Duddy was in a very boring fight in the Pacquiao vs Clottey undercard. Duddy was basically the same level as old Baldimor who Alvarez beat by ko. And lets not forget who beat Cuello far better? Alvarez? Or Chavez Jr?

Do you think Hatton could beat Duddy? You think Duddy isnt more dangerous then Hatton, based on size and power alone?

Hatton-Alvarez was signed when the title became vacant. Either Angulo-Rhodes should've faced off for it later in the year, or Alvarez against either of them if he wanted the fight . He should not have won the title today. You look at the list of contenders behind him, and he's on a hiding to nothing. He fights any of them, he will probably lose. He avoids them, he's gets hated on.

Duddy hasn't beat any good fighters in his career for god sake. If Duddy could have fought at 154 pounds, i could see Hatton even though small beat Duddy. Duddy style is really not exciting to watch and doesn't have big power himself to ko or tko Hatton. Again kirk this is the same Duddy who barely survive vs a grandpa shot in the dark Campus. Face it Duddy is a c minus fighter.

When did I say Duddy wasnt  But wtf is Hatton? At least Duddy is a c level MIDDLEWEIGHT... not a c level WELTERWEIGHT.

and no, if they fought at a catchweight of 154, or 157, Duddy would bully and beat Hatton.... You are focusing waaaaaaaay too much on Duddy in all of this. All I said was, Duddy is more dangerous then Hatton, and in my eyes, he is. Hatton is smaller, weaker, and a lighter puncher. If the two were the exact same size, id pick hatton to win, because I think that if you throw out reality of the size difference, hes a cagier and better fighter, but in reality, Duddy is the more dangerous opponent due to physical dimensions and tools alone. I am also not so sure that Hatton would have beat that Campas eather. Since when is Hatton some B level fighter? Hes not. Hes a c level fighter like the rest of them, only.... smaller.

At any rate, Duddy is besides the point, fact is, Canelo didnt do anything JR wouldnt have done tonight, and is being praised for it, when Jr would have been pissed on. And Canelo isnt decapitating Jr if they fight soon, at least not imo. I would be impressed if he did though. Jr is a big kid and has shown a good beard so far.

Huh? did i even say that? :huh

I said he has more power, that has nothing to do with him stopping hatton.

    I like your avatar

Yeah Kirk, it would be a good fight the two young Mexicans....

I think it should happen later rather then sooner.

canelo would be a -160 favorite and could go either way as chavez jr. has shown to have some stamina problems.

it doesnt matter as both will be fringe contenders by this time next year at 154. canelo might have a chance at 147 because of agression, but he cant make the weight
