Hmmm idk it wasnt too much of a robbery. However the last judges scorecard was so wide that it made you think PDL would have needed a TKO to get a draw.

I had it 5-5 possibly 6-4 for Bronner. He did land alot of clean shots. Also PDLs trainer screwed up by telling him to step on his toes. He had momentum and it looked like he started thinking too much about the toes and let Bronner steal a few rounds with that. After the 3rd i would have told PDL to go for the body like he was doing.
It was obviously bothering him and setting up shots upstairs.

    He didn't, de judges did.

If you really like (can't imagine it, but hey) Broner's style you might have scored this bout a draw. But you really have to be a bit over biased to give the man a close (5-4-1/6-4) win, and that 99-91 judge can be placed in the same category as Benoit and van Hoy.

It was a close fight that depended on "taste". Broner was more accurate. PDL was more active/aggressive. I would have been fine with a close decision either way or a draw. That last card? That takes away from the integrity of Boxing.

Broner landed the much cleaner shots through out the fight, I also thought he clearly won the last round with clean effective punching, but yeah 99-91 was a joke.

He probably got the nod because 2 of the judges saw him landing the harder blows throughout the fight... while the other judge was simply counting the hundreds lining his wallet.

I personally had Ponce De Leon winning a close fight based on higher workrate alone even if his punches weren't as as effective as Broner's.

    With cleaner, more accurate punching...

Bad card from the one judge though...

Leadup to the fight, De Leon had to move up to 130 to fight Broner. Closer to his more natural weight ATM.
Leadup to the fight again, I heard that HBO may'be really invested in Broner down the line. (ala Andre Berto)

All the reasons why I had to change my pick at the last minute to Broner.

I am beginning to hate Oscar. His damned criminal judges are crooked as a dog's hind leg! De Leon won the fight and the fans know it, the boos were music to my ears. I am getting tired of crooked boxing!

I dont think it was a robbery but that 99-91 card was fishy to say the least! :-( Broner has alot of talent but he didnt have the balls to take the fight to ponce and put on a show!

PS: after the fight broner didnt look to happy... He just started dancing when he got the nod!

This bummed me out. I hate the way boxing is being scored of late. **** flash, I saw Broner land maybe a dozen clean shots throughout the whole night. Ponce is a very nice person, never thought he was the greatest of fighters, but he won tonight by outworking and outlanding his opponent. And by the way way how does somebody dance and showboat after a performance like that. **** Adrien Broner. You lost son. By a fighter you claimed you couldn't even watch tapes on because he looked so bad.
