I don't get this. Donaire's getting paid a lot more money now. And he's trying to jump ship? From the promoter who owns most of the best and well-known fighters from 118 to 135?
:deal That guy don't understand that Donaire has to Pay, Arum, trainers, taxes, sparring partners and take care of his family. That 300k probably turns into 90k when its all said and done.
Hell Arum has been holding Donaire back for a while now, instead of working with Dan Goossen to do double headers with Andre Ward to sell out Oracle Arena, Bob sat on the success of the Vic Darchinyan fight and wasted Donaire's time. If Arum was worth anything this fight would have happened a while ago and Donaire would be in the Showtime tournament.
nonito is 10 times the man you are, and he doesnt know you and doesnt ****ing care what you think so please stop the hating.
Nonito is #2 P4P so he dserves to get paid the second most amount of money behind Manny. Nonito has sold alot of american PPVs and should have tens of millions of dollars to share with his father who makes portable toilets.
Nonito wishes that all of that were true. Just look at his resume and you can easily tell that he hasn't even made ONE million total for his career (taking into account paying his promoters, trainers, cornermen, etc.).
No problem with Nonito flexin' his muscle after his soaring stock made him a boxing sensation over night. Of course Nonito knows he's under contract but he's making noise to get bob's attention about reviewing his worth. Next fight Nonito is gonna be getting paid A LOT more and Bob is going to smooth things over with Nonito long before the next fight. Bob sees Nonito's future and wants to be his promoter. He'll handle the sitaution with kids gloves to ensure Nonito feels the love and stays loyal to TR.
What's wrong with him shopping around? If Arum wants to keep him he can offer him a better deal than anyone else. It's pretty simple.
