How did Broner beat Ponce De Leon?

Broner had all the physical advantages and he still ran and pot shotted ponce!

 

Kill the judges.

 

I watched the fight without sound.

F TGIF with their stupid music blaring in the bar.

I had Broner up.

 

Really? Wow.

 

Maybe just a tad sour. Each man walked the other down, in an attempt to cut the ring off, for significant periods during the fight. Broner fought mostly off his back foot during exchanges, while Ponce came forward trying to brawl. Broner did skip around a bit, at times. However, he couldn't miss with the right hand. I think that's what caught the eye of the judges more than anything else. Also, he appeared to control the tempo of the fight, IMO. He showed better ring generalship, IMO, although he was not terribly active, offensively.

A draw would've been ideal, perhaps. But, a score of 96-94, in favor of Broner is no robbery, IMO. The score of 99-91 though...ridiculous. That judge must've excused himself and took a long ****, during the action.

 

what I dont get is this hatred vs guys who come to fight, why do so many people score these kind of fights for guys like broner who just is basically a ***** acting like he is mayeather. he didnt let his hands go enough to win the fight, and dont say he landed clearer necause that is easier if you dont throw punches. ponce de leon won 96-94 and got robbed because of bull**** boxing politics, people shouldnt justify this by saying he won.

Broner is a poor mans mayweather.. He pot shotted a smaller fighter.. he fought like a *****!

I shouldnt even compare him to mayweather at all.. floyd lands clean shots and is 1000 times better!

 

Williams - Martinez 1 also had one absurd scorecard. Everyone should be able to recognize the common denominator.

 

He outboxed him. De leon wasnt landing ****. The fans were bias and the announcers were playing it both ways. Broner landed more and landed the cleaner punches.

 

De Leon won, period. 99-91 for Broner? atsch

 

Crooked judges! Crooked judges are killing boxing! Fans are getting tired of it! Oscar should be ashamed. The fans booed like Hell, Oscar had to hear that, but he pretended everything was OK. Boxing is crooked.

 

De Leon won that fight, it was a hard one but clearly a De Leon the winner.
