he is young. VERY talented but a lil too cocky for my tastes. he hasnt been put on his ass yet. his potential s clearly there
:deal What a twat. Only problem I see is that 130lb is a dead division so I could see that punk stinking out our screen for a while yet Soon as his 0 goes, he will be on the scrapheap. He is like a homeless version of Dirrell, who at the very least tries to fight All that arrogance and you don't even try to engage
I'm tired of seeing fighters trying to implement a slick style with no proper execution or fundamental base underneath it. Don't use a philly shell guard if you can't parry shots and roll punches with your shoulder. Don't drop your left hand if you aren't reflexive enough to slip straight punches as they come. Don't just chill on the backfoot if you can't properly step away form an assault.
Ponce is still the man!! This content is protected A light weight ran and pot shotted a feather-weight folks!
Lol...He's got fast hands, decent pop, good movement, and has a chance to be really good. I guess the "cool thing to do" is **** on the kid for beating a former World Champion, and at times made it look very easy. It was pretty clear that he could have opened up on Ponce De Leon whenever he wanted, but as Roy Jones explained pretty clearly last night, why would he do that and give Ponce De Leon his only opportunity to be in the fight? I mean the kid can/will get better hence being billed a "Prospect", but it's hard to deny his ability. In terms of whoever referred to him as trying to act "gangsta"...I don't recall him shooting, stabbing, or robbing anyone; I didn't see his du-rag, I mean what about what this kid did was anything like a "Gangsta"? Maybe my idea of a gangsta and yours are different, but I'm curious to hear what was "gangsta".
