All this guy does is wait to bash the Cubans. I have even tried to speak very reasonably with him and ask him why he is like that but he never answers. That shows how much hate people have and without any reason whatsoever.

dude, all glass-dick does is hate on fighters. you should take anything he has to say with a grain salt, his philosopy for "glass jaws" is any fighter that gets wobbled with a punch. how you can you possibly take anyone serious who's that mentally defficient? he's like a little kid, you ignore him and eventually he'll go away.

 

And when has Despaigne been hyped? We have never regarded Despaigne as a future great, as a good promising prospect yes but not a future World Champion. It seems you are just another person looking to see when a Cuban fails so that you can have a good time. :-(

I think despaigne can win a belt, he needs to make some adjusments and fight with his head not his heart, beside he didn't lose to a bum, the guy was a heck of a fighter, younger and with a lot of experince in the amateurs (over 300 fights) and twice as Despaigne fights in the prof.

 

Perez, Acosta y Garcia had good chance too.

 

I don't know, man, I don't know. I don't think he's smart enough to go any further than a Top 15 or something.

 

Adjustments and fight with his head he needs to b smarter that is the whole thing, if not he will b a stepping stone.

 

To be fair: Despaigne lost to a future champ. If he is lucky he could fight against somebody (whos not that good) in a titlefight in 15-20 months. If Syllakh keep impressing, Despaignes loss would not look that bad, he lost on points , not k.o

 

That is what I had been saying, losing to a guy like that the way he did is not a step back, he needs to learn from this, every time he used the jab he had success, but he was doing a King Kong impression and forgot that the name of the game is box, IS was picking him apart from the outside and he was just throwing power punches from that distance, now when he used the jab he got to IS but he didn't do it enough, he needs to learn and adjust.
