Why? Haye barely won. Adamek looked better in winning against Arreola and did so in Arreola's back yard too. Besides, Adamek has been a HW for a much shorter time span than Haye and yet has managed to test himself more frequently. That has to be taken into consideration.
hmmm notable opponents in order valuev arreola ruiz estrada barret golota grant maddalone harrison mcbride(assuming tomasz wins) it is very close, but i'd have to say haye. he's beaten two current/former world champions. unless i've missed anyone out. adamek has a very good win against arreola, but valuev is a long way ahead of cristobal. so i say haye just.
Adamek and its not close. Estrada > Barrett Golota > Bonin Arreola > Ruiz Grant > Harrison. Even Kevin McBride > Harrison, lol lets be real here..... The only win Haye has that is superior is his "win" vs. Valuev. but it really wasn't a win, 11 rounds of nothingness and 1 clear Haye round isn't really anything to put up on your fridge.
Exactly. Even fatty Danny Rafeal was right. It took Team Adamek just 2 WEEKS to negotiate and agree to a K2 contract. Haye has been "negotiating" for like 2 ****in years and STILL, nothing is yet on paper. Adamek is just the superior fighter, period. David is just a prima donna, weather you think he has more skills than Adamek or not, but he doesn't have the same fighting spirit and mentality that Adamek has. Thats fact. Boxing is 80% mental and 20% physical, and Haye lacks that 80% that Adamek has. Adamek is not only more active, but way busier in the ring, way tougher, and way more hungry for victory than Haye is. Haye just turned 30 and hes already talking about retirement, LOL. Pathetic mentality. The only HW today that has the mentality to beat either one of the brothers is Tomasz Adamek, David Haye lacks that.
That is a good point, Adamek has been very active at HW, and I would say that the overall body of work is better for him, but Valuev was a much tougher matchup than Arreola or Grant.

Have you never seen adamek fight he is a warrior and a top boxer but he takes alot of shots, he isn't known for his elusive movements, he is known for being teak tough, a good fighter and having a great heart. Honestly i was being slightly harsh on adamek in the money side of things but he isn't a heavyweight champion and doesn't have the kind of ppv revenue haye can produce so obviously he is going to be happy with a much smaller purse.
Hmm. Honestly I'd give Haye the edge re. heavyweight resume. Adamek's win over Arreola is more meaningful than anything Haye has done. But I'd rate Haye's wins over SNV, Ruiz, and Barrett over Adamek's other heavy wins (Estrada, Golata, Grant). Not so much because Ruiz and Barrett are necessarily better than Grant or Estrada, but rather because Haye won those fights convincingly, while Adamek has had some close calls. Now if we are talking about overall boxing career Adamek has the clear edge. Adamek's cruiser wins over Cunningham, Bell and Banks are stronger than Haye's wins over Mormeck, Macca, and Fragomeni. Adamek hasn't lost since Chad Dawson at light heavyweight--he deserves his high heavyweight ranking partly based on his accomplishments at cruiser and light heavy.
Well its not like adamek vs grant fight was close, Grant had his moments, but overall won no more than 2-3 rounds max. Also there was no winner in the Haye-Valuev fight, dohh.. it wasnt even a "fight" they both lost in my eyes. Plus Ppl should take into account that Valuev should have lost to ancient Holyfield in his previous fight.
Yeah signing in a polish football stadium in a country that's not exactly flush with cash is a real coup, im sure wlad would turn down a fight with haye's ppv revenue and if held in england a potential sellout at a stadium like Wembley for a few zloty's :rofl
