Heartbreaking Fights

Joe wouldn't be 'demolished' by anyone. Outpointed possibly. Don't forget that Calzaghe was past his prime in that fight too.

 

mike vs holyfield 1..ripped me up watching mike go through that.

mike v lewis..the one sided beatdown made me finally realise mike is done.

trinidad vs winky...one of my fav mid 90 fighters back after beatin mayorga, installed some faith to see him do something..

vargas vs oscar..i was rooting for el feroz big time.

 

Pac-ODH, Pac-Cotto,

 

i watched that fight only once with the pre fight talk and post fight..one of the most depressing boxing events..Don King is a swine.

 

Seeing Hatton get beat by both Floyd and Pac was awful.

I desperately wanted to believe he'd win but after Pac there was no-one left to fight.

Reminded me of Bruno vs Tyson a bit.

 

Tito-Hopkins. Trinidad is my favourite-ever fighter and he was on such an incredible run going into this fight - it seemed like the good times were never going to end! Watching Hopkins dismantle him was pure turture.

Morales-Pac III. Watching such a legendary warrior go down and realising that his time was at an end was painful.

 

Cotto - Margarito - Plaster hands Margo should rot for what he knowingly and willingly did to Cotto.
Tyson - Douglas - The long count when Douglas was down. Get up Mike, forget your friggin' gumshield!
Jones - Calzaghe - Not the same Jones and Calzaghe is so overrated in the UK. The cherry picker had a close escape after losing to Hopkins. ;-)

 

Vargas vs Tito. Fernando came back in the fight tried so hard, but was beat by a better fighter.

Cotto vs Margarito. Thought Cotto was going to die at the end of the fight. And I was rooting for Margarito. Corner should have stopped that fight.

Gatti vs Floyd. Gatti was on a roll and the bigger fighter thought he would give Floyd a tough fight

tyson-holyfield excessive holding just pissed me off

rjj-calzaghe jones would have toyed joe in his prime and possibly ko him if he wants to....

Lewis V Tyson - I wanted Lewis to win and I was cheering him on to knock Tyson the **** out, looking back at it now and watching Tyson lay their with the blood dripping down his face from his eye...its kind of sad.
