This fight never bothered me, simply because, no-matter when, where or at what weight...Would've been THE SAME OUTCOME. Gatti was just that limited and Floyd is just that Good. Now watching Gatti get beaten and battered by Alfonso Gomez pissed me the **** off!!! Oh yeah...nice way to attempt to deguise this thread....when it fact, it's just another FLOYD-HATING thread.

This. I wanted Mike to KO him. But knew it wouldn't happen. From the 2nd round onwards it was a bad bad beating. In hindsight maybe it should have been stopped. Certainly showed how tough Tyson was. Even Manny was pissed of with LL that night and implored him to stop Tyson.

    Watson - Eubank II

So wanted Watson to win a title because he won that first fight, imo. And to be so close the second time and for Eubank to escape with that punch and its subsequent effects was just devastating. Horrid night, especially with Eubank at ringside accusing of Watson of 'being on something' and wanting him to be tested as Watson was being looked after in the ring. Twat.

I had a recording of that night and since I knew I wouldn't watch it again, I scrubbed it shortly after. Took a couple of decades before I felt the urge to see it again. Michael Watson doing well outside of the ring helped.

Strange one - even in defeat, Pascals stock went up. It was a modern classic and nobody should be heartbroken to lose that kind of fight. Both guys came out of it well.

Hopkins-Trinidad after awhile. A year or so ago I've warmed to him and watched him more and once I saw Trinidad on the canvas like that it broke me.

    Trinidad-Jones- should've never happened.

Green-Jones. In his prime Jones would've murdered him and he wasn't even half of the fighter who fought Toney.

Vargas-Mayorga- I've seen the highlights and he was a shell.

Vargas-Mosley 2- I am a Mosley fan but Vargas looked like a dead man.

Cotto-Margarito very end of 10th-11th round- It was competitive before that but the end of Cotto's prime was about to come to and end. Also since the glove scandal I felt sorry for Cotto that he lost to Margarito.

Cotto-Pacquiao. Cotto didn't deserve to take that beating after like the 7th round.

Jones-Lucas. A pure beating against an overmatched opponent. Should've been stopped sooner.

Duran-Joppy. I love Duran and it pained me to see him like that in the 3rd(haven't watched the other 2 rounds yet)

The ending of Taylor's last two losses. He gave his all and wanted a comeback bad but he didn't have it in him to go the distance in those fights. It sucked to see him so broken like that. He never could adapt well but I felt bad for him he looked so heartbroken.

Moore-Duran. Great performance by Duran but not too fun to watch. Pure beating that could've killed Moore's career if it didn't.

DLH-Pacquiao- He looked like he was moving through mud and was not half the guy Shane, Trinidad, and even Hopkins fought.

Last few rounds of Vargas-Trinidad. I LOVE this fight and Vargas toke the middle rounds but after Trinidad adapted there was nothing Vargas could do. He got his prime beaten out of him and hasn't been the same since.

Wright-Williams. The Wright that fought Mckart might have beaten him but with Winky's inactivity out of the ring & age disadvantage he just had no chance.

Taylor after Hopkins. He never looked impressive for a whole fight again.(unless you want to include his performance against a shot Lacy)

Wright-Trinidad. If you've followed my last post in this thread and noticed that sometimes I sport a Tito avatar then I don't have to explain.

Taylor after Chavez 2. His last very good performance and the end to his career really.

Brewster-Wlad 2. After Sergei, Brewter was never the same as was Sergei.

Jones against Johnson and his losses to Tarver. A dead man and didn't have his superhuman footspeed anymore. He looked much older than his age in Tarver 3 & Johnson.

Jimmy Young-Cooney. It was a competitive fight but Jimmy couldn't see anything after his disturbing cut and he shouldn't have token that beating.

Vasquez-Marquez IV- Shouldn't have happened. The should've let the series be after the third.

Morales-Raheem & Morales-Pacquiao 3. Erik looked so old and was shot.

Whitaker-Trinidad. I admit I do love the fight and Trinidad had deadly accuracy but age & decline in reflexes caught up to Whitaker.

Frazier against Foreman. He just couldn't beat Foreman though he was better & possibly greater than him. A classic example of styles making fights.

Mosley-Pacquiao- It will suck seeing Mosley take that beating. He's a warrior but won't be adble to deal with Pacquiao's speed of hand & foot.

Mosley-Mayweather- Mayweather picked him of beautifully but Mosley was not half of what he was against Oscar and maybe even Cotto.

Marg-Pacquiao- Say what you want but I didn't enjoy to see a guy get his face rearranged like that. He fought galliantly but his corner should've stopped.

Cobb-Holmes- I haven't seen that but that was one brutal beating that should've been stooped.

Jones Tarver 2 wasnt as bad as the third fight. I could not watch the beating Jones took from Glen and the third Tarver fight just broke my heart. I mean he had tarver. He could have stopped him but he didnt.

1st) = When Naz got beaten like a little girl by Barrera i was gutted. sat up all night thinking Naz was the man and he would destroy this mexican bum...But alas, the Mexican wasnt a bum and he made Nas look part-time.
That was my first introduction to Barrera and I watched him from that point onwards.

2nd) = When Lewis got dethroned in Africa by Rahman. I was gutted, he was waxed, and on the floor and not making the 10 count. Another late night drinking beer ready to cheer Lennox on to another victory and went to bed half hung over, not wanting to drink anymore beer and knowing the yanks would be giving it the bigun. Loved the rematch though and session that followed as we were watching it with Yanks and the gloating made up for all the sadness in the first fight.
