Why so early Flea? You working on the theory that as soon as Wlad lands a proper jab and throws a right it is over? I too reckon Wlad TKO, but a bit later when Haye is blowing and won't move as well.
I do not think Wlad is a good fighter at all. I think even a half decent fighter takes him out and have done in the past. Haye is better than half decent and thats I fancy him to win.
Apologies getting carried away there...and trust me im no valuev fan in fact i was glad he lost that fight as for him to take Marcianos record of 49-0 would have been criminal...
Wladimar isn't a punch bag, and will be more than happy for Haye to gas himself. It's quite obvious Haye is going in with bad intentions, looking for the early KO. I'm sure Steward is fully aware of the tactics team Haye will employ. As said before, IF Haye doesn't have Wladimar out of there in 6, team Haye will run out of idea's, and Haye will fold - probably on his bicycle like in the Valuev bout. It's no secret Haye fades late in fights, and his main objective is to 'knock em out early. Haye is absolutely sure Wladimar will get knocked out. Could Haye be overlooking his opponent? Wladimar is a different kettle of fish all together, nothing a like Haye past opponents. I give Haye a very good chance early on but I am certain Haye has limited time to accomplish his destiny. It's all or nothing in my opinion. Haye will probably get desperate if Wladimar isn't out there by the 5'th, and I expect him to go for broke at some stage, if this is the case.
Seriously? He'd be a handful for all barring the very best HW's of all time. I'd put him in the 3rd tier of heavies with the likes of Riddick Bowe.
People seriously underrate Wladimir. You dont stay on top of the division and beat as many champs or former champs as he has without being half decent. People should not equate Wlad's discipline, one dimensional style to his overall effectiveness. Yes Wlad is not a well rounded fighter technically, but he has good athleticism and power for a big man, most importantly, he knows how to use those advantages, and is disciplined enough not to get away from them, which is what makes him so effective, he does not give up his advantages and let you in the fight, he maintains them, which is probably why he's so boring at times.
Wlad keeps his right very low ... Haye will have plenty of opportunities with his natural speed once he gets behind the jab to slip n counter all day .. Wlads chin will be tested
[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RylOgj0KtqY&feature=related[/ame] Klitschko makes this mistake in all his fights, and with the speed/agility/power of David you seriously think he's going to weather the storm! I don't think so! He don't like fighting back,he's constantly slaps down punches as well which leaves him vunerable!
Wladimir has all the tools to take Haye apart. I'm happy for Wladimir as he will finally get the respect he deserves when Haye is brutally dealt with. It's just a shame Booth can't be KO'd with him as he deserves a crack on the chin also! :yep
Have you seen the way Wladimir jabs? Wlad does not commit to the jab, he does not put it out there in a predictable rhythm either. How many people have you seen slip inside Wlad's jab? Chris Byrd is a more skilled fighter than Haye, possibly quicker to, and he couldn't get inside that jab. You need someone to commit to the jab before you can slip inside it, you try to counter when someone doesn't commit to it and you will leave yourself open.
It's amusing to hear people say, "oh all he has to do is get by the jab and he'll murder him". That's all any of Wlad's victims had to do and none of them could do it and look how successful they were.
