    Exactly my thoughts.

He has to come forward if he wants to win. Otherwise Wlad will stay outside and jab his way to a points win, or wait for an opening and land a power shot and KO Haye.

Haye is going to have to be quick, in and out, land meaningful shots and frustrate Wlad. That is his only chance.

His problem is Wlad's 1+2 is beastly, and just getting past the jab is going to be a nightmare for Haye.

Also, all that running and big punching is going to be tiring. Can he last with Wlad, who is probably the best conditioned HW in the last 20 years?

If it does go into rounds 9-12 I expect Haye will be running on empty and already damaged from the jab and right hands. Wlad will do what he always does and close in for the kill. Haye will be out of there before the end, no repeat of Ibragimov.

that was haye on a very long lay off coming back to 2nd fight in heavyweight,1st one in a long time.

and barrett actually has pretty good speed and lanky arms for his frame.

Wlad will be ponderous and scared, haye will make him miss and destroy wlad with 1 good combination.

Agreed, Wlad's going to keep Haye outside with the jab and the 1+2 combo all night, probably wearing him down to a late KO unless he can crack that chin early (which isn't unreasonable). I love the Haye/Corrie Sanders comparisons that people are throwing out, the Wlad that's fighting now is completely different than he was before.

50-50? If you ever come across these odds being offered by a reputable bookie I would appreciate a shout.

If a semi-pro golfer/part-time fighter can KO Wladimir in 2 what will Haye do?

That semi-pro golfer was a southpaw with a telegraph-pole like straight left hand. Haye doesn't have that.

    This dreadful thread is ridiculous.

Haye: "Monte's jab is equivalent to a cruiserweight's right hand and it is something I have to get used to." Haye is in for another surprise. :hi:
