Roach will have been working on a gameplan for a long time. If we ignore the vacation shite, I'd assume Roger was also taking his time to work on a gameplan to beat Pacquiao also. If there was a reason that this bout hasn't happened yet, I would hope it was because of this.

me..honestly? After seeing Ninito obliterate the smaller Montiel. thats what crept into my head about pbf/floyd.

and after Bromer handled Ponce De Leon...I couldn't help but see the similarities in the crudeness of Pacquiao.

I gotta see the tale of the tape. Floyd is listed as 5-8. Pac is listed at 5-6. I sized up Floyd when he was at Caesars. He is NOT 5-8. He's at most 5-6. As for Pac, I've heard he is 5-4 max. the height doesn't bother me..its Floyd's amazing reach. His jab will be the most key thing in the fight IMO.

I would say Mayweather has an inch or two on him at most. But like you said, the reach will be an important factor...I'd guess that Roach would love to have the reach advantage in this match-up.

floyd isnt a big welter. He's not much bigger then Manny. Manny has been fighting way bigger guys lately like Clottey and Marg.

I agree. Pac's best chance is early because if PBF figures him out he's done.

Pimp C - Thank you for including me in your signature. One day people will indeed call Manny one of the greatest of all time only behind Ali.

it is hard for people to comprehend because of where he is from but he has certain attributes that no fighter could replicate and especially at 147.

Find me one welterweight that can easily take punches, throws a vicious right hook and deadly varied angle left cross, can place shots with pin point accuracy, has a nation behind him and footwork, speed and power beyond compare ? U think that happened by accident ? It is even harder to do what he has done with so many less people paying attention to the sport. If Anything Pac is better than given credit for.

Thanks for including me in yours.:good I agree that Pac is great but IMO he's not the best ever at WW. I would pick a number of fighters at that weight to beat him SRR, SRL, Hearns, Pea Whitaker, PBF and Duran just to name a few. I think you're overrating him like crazy there and underrating the ability of the guys I listed there and how good and deep their resumes are.

    WTF ????? :huh

Pacquiao`s name should not be mentioned among the greats at 147, thats a joke.

Also... how the **** can Pac be rated best ever only behind Ali when 99% of people have SRR above Ali ?

To mention Pac in the same sentence as Robinson is an insult to just how good Ray was.

(Mayweather beats Pac at any weight from 130-154 - for the record, copy & save this post if you want)

Yup Floyd did not counter well Oscar's combos(Oscar could have won if he did not get tired), Judah is a lefty(which troubles Floyd), looking at it, Pacquiao throw combos from different angles and he is also a lefty with fast foot speed.

It wasnt my favourite but **** happens, Morales is still the last man to beat him & he did it past prime.... Mayweather is still in his prime & he is a better pure boxer than Erik, that = trouble for Pac.

If the fight gets signed I`ll take ANY bet with you that Mayweather beats Pacquiao. Any bet.
