Don't see it myself, the guy is a rolemodel outside and inside the ring I feel. He seems to be enjoying his semi-retirement on the golf course and with his family, still keeping in touch with his many many fans through boxing. He doesn't have to at all but he does.

i don't know ............ a catch weight (drained as in he took damage in the 1st rounds ) margo fractured pacs ribs and margo got em against the rope a good # of times, a prime 154lb Vargas keeps pac satisfied w 7 weight class belts. Or maybe he skips 154 and fights Pavlik for a 'super dooper WBC bling bling champion ' belt.

Dull in what sense? He is a middle aged man. He travels the globe promoting boxing, meeting his fans, talking to audiences of people and the like, hardly the life of a dull person in my books. In my spare time I'd probably unwind in someway like that if I had such a hardcore job...thats a lie, when I get a hardcore job I intend to get myself a coke addiction but thats a story for another thread.

it seems like what he is saying gets rehearsed, and................... if i was oscar i would be mobbing down the Vegas strip at night w sunglasses w 5 coke whores on each side.

The dude had lots of fun when he was younger. Mostly on the tables in Vegas and across the border in Mexico, as it happen with us all he seems to have mellowed with time.

As for being rehearsed...I guess when it comes to business he has to follow a company line, which shouldn't surprise anyone but outside of that I think the guy speaks from the heart.
