As much as I want Haye to KO Wlad to change the landscape of this terrible heavyweight monotony, I doubt Haye wanted it. He coulda had it much earlier if he really wanted it. BS

Hayes actions over the years would show that he hasn't "wanted the fight all along."

We shall see if Haye pulls out of the fight, as that is what he has done every other time he has signed to fight a Klitschko (once).

    Wlad middle round KO

Being both American and Filipino, you would guess right if I said I don't have a guy that I really follow at HW.

If Wlad vs Haye happens, I'd root for Haye, even if he's more Mayweather-ish in his attitude, because he's an underdog in this fight. Rooting for someone who you know will just crush his opponents to death with jabs isn't that fun, hehe

I know that but the fact is Haye as the challenger woulda still made a shitload of money and if he really wanted the fight he woulda taken it at 60-40 without TV rights since beating Klitschko would lead to him having the upperhand in negotiations for a rematch or vs the other brother and far bigger paydays down the road....not to mention enhancing the legacy he seems to care nothing about.

I'm rooting for Haye just because Klitchko's more boring to watch.

is that really the only possible conclusion you come to? how about Haye realized the risk of facing a top ranked heavy i.e. mandatory?

Haye will retire as is his choosing, after he gets knocked out and cashes out via this Klitschko bout!

This is the most plausable reason. Much better if you lose against the #1 HW for a sh#tload of money, in a fight where you were the underdog afterall as fighting (with a big risk of losing and/or looking avarage against) Povetkin or Chagaev for much less money.

And according to recent polls he even has a 30% chance to pull it off...
