I love Tito, he is one of my favorite fighters all time. But given that Tito was a special fighter for Puerto Rico and nobody can deny that, I would like to point out things that I didn't like about Tito's career but Cotto has done and that all PR's should be proud of and boxing fans in general should like in a fighter.

    1. Cotto didn't retire after his first loss.
    2. Cotto didn't retire after his second loss.
    3. Cotto didn't cry after his first loss (although Tito had a whole country on his shoulders).
    4. Cotto didn't cry after his second loss (same as above)
    5. Cotto won a belt after his first defeat
    6. Cotto won a belt after his second defeat.
    7. For better or worse Cotto changed corners.

Most American boxing fans love Cotto, but why are so many PRs against him? His countrymen that are cold towards him always call him conceited and stuck up. He always just struck me as a ridiculously introverted and quiet guy though.

He likes his privacy and Tito likes to be around his fans. Two different personalities but some people do not understand that. Tito was a special fighter plain and simple.

Tito never quit, but he was never beaten up as badly as Cotto was. Give the guy a break, wonder how many guys here would not have quit against Margarito that night.

99% would have quit. But he is a fighter and we are armchair critics

Sorry bro, I think in spanish . I changed the title, I hope thats better. Tito did cry after his first loss but it wasn't right after the fight (I believe he choked during the post fight interview). On his second loss he cried the next day and that **** made it to the front page of the newspaper.
