fact is Margo almost got it by Nazim. Probably if Naz hadn't been through that whole situation with Tito's wraps, he wouldn't have thought twice.
He wasn't rocked by the uppercuts....an accumulation of punches with loaded gloves will catch up with anyone. Unless your'e like Clottey covering up in shell mode!!! Margarita's punches have not been the same since they removed the plaster wraps!!!
He didn't hurt Manny anyother time.....his punches do not have the same impact. Against Garcia .... Margarita boxed...according to " Freddy Wak " it was per his corner's instructions....of course. They know better than anyone that Margarita's punch is not the same without the plaster!!!

Garcia told him to box. Besides didnt Margarito KD him? As far as his punches havent been the same since Mosley. Well he fought Garcia and then Pac. Pac has a very good chin along with Garcia. I say if he faces another guy with a chin like Cotto he knocks him out.

Cotto could have still beat him even with the loaded gloves, but he fought a very stupid fight. He would move around the ring then completely stop, and let Margo pound on him then retaliate. The first flaw of his game plan was that he kept believing that he was going to land the shot to hurt Margo. His game plan should have been to limit Margo's work rate while still landing the bigger shots.. Which Cotto was easily capable of doing as the better boxer. He allowed Margo to hit him WAY to much. The 7 straight uppercuts were just embarrassing. Then again by that point his body probably got way to heavy since he allowed Margo to hit him so much. What he should have been doing is allow Margo to walk into punches by backing up then exploding with a body shot or hook then getting out again or using Mosley's style of tieing up while mixing in combos. Rather then allowing Margo to land first and sometimes multiple shots before Cotto even threw anything. He should turned Margo into a counter puncher landing maybe one shot at a time. Margo is only effective with work rate. Its not like Margo is going to catch Cotto with that great counter and knock him out. Cotto fought such a dumb fight its sad.
I dont know why cotto uses a translater at his press conferences his English is pretty good its better then pacs.
