Anyone have video of the short punches Wlad threw against Barret when they fought. People who think Wlad can't fight inside need to watch what he did to Monte on that night.
Haye as handspeed when he explodes, but he is not a fast fighter in his total game. Smaller fighters without great speed like Fragomeni, Mormeck and Ruiz landed good punches on him. Wlad was hit hard and floored when: 1. He was totally exhausted, Purrity, Brewster. That happened twice in his long career, not likely to happen again. 2. When he totally underestimated Sanders, he isn't going to underestimate Haye 3. By an iron - chinned Peter who could take punches that would kill Haye

What fighters say outside of the ring is a piece of crock. Its designed to either sell a fight or out psych an opponent. I'll assure you of one thing, neither fighter will enter that ring underestimating their opponent or expecting an easy fight.
Some people think "fast hands" = "great, fast defense" Haye has a below average defense. For the most part his offense is his defense.
What does the end result has to do with Haye's lack of defense against jab? Whenever Barrett attempted to jab it worked. The other times he was throwing off-balance looping punches and paying for that dearly.
haye HAS various things that wlad or vit has not faced in the past 6-7 years..... HUNGER EAGERNESS GUILE SPEED POWER STRATEGY ELUSIVE NO FEAR COURAGE COFIDENCE put all that in front of either klit and im afraid HAYE is way too good for either bro....... im not saying HAYE is the best thing since sliced bread, but he is the best fighter the HW division has seen since LEWIS hung his big gloves up. mate, haye will get past that jab easilly, and once he does wlad will not even dare throw the jab any more, thats if he's still on his feet.
I just hope Wlad is a man of his word. He has promised to lay a proper beating on Haye and then knock him out in the 12th.
haye is a different fighter now. he is developing his style to combat a klitschko. i would be surprised to see haye get caught in a klitschko jabfest. the dude is too smart
Haye only survives if he runs. He has no offensive options against Wladimir other than praying that he lands a big shot on him. If he throws and is off balance when Wlad returns fire, he goes down. If he stands in front of Wlad, he goes down. If he tries to get inside of Wlad, he goes down. Any way you look at it, Haye is going down.
