Sanders had a deceptively quick and powerful left hand that messed Wlad up and heavily jarred Vitali early on, and we know Haye has power in both hands. That said, he doesn't fight southpaw and I doubt he will spend too much time static on the ropes.

Sanders was a very strange dude. He looked like he'd never set foot in a gym but was kryponite to Wlad and he rocked Vitali. If he'd had half the commitment and discipline that the likes of the Klitschko's and Haye's of the world have, he would have been a world-beater. Luckily for everyone else, he preferred playing golf. . .

Irrelevant. Pre-Steward. Sanders would never touch the current Wlad. Wlad has infinitely better defense and effective controlled offense. The blueprint to beating Wlad is a ref who doesn't allow him to lay upon and hold his opponent after every punch. That, and an opponent who uses lots of head movement and movement in general. Watch Wlad v Peter II. The first round only. Wlad was out of his comfort zone because of Peter's second-rate Frazier imitation. That's the style that unnerves Wlad.

Wlad deosnt like when you up in his face, he likes to keep you at bay and make you think cause he knows he can think better and out smart you. To beat Wlad you have to be fearless and take chances. Come foward fighters that can bang and have some speed and throw from angles are the guys that give Wlad problems.

If you believe 2011 Klitschko is the same as this one, then you believe Pacquiao is similar now to his performances vs. Torrecampo and Singsurat. And you'd believe Jones is capable of returning to P4P stature. Times change. Do I give Haye a chance to win? Absolutely. But look how he fought Valuev. Surely that David Haye will not be able even trouble Wladimir.

Wlad is a better fighter now, but he hasn't faced an opponent as quick and powerful as Sanders since, unless you count getting KO'd by Lamon Brewster. The biggest issues he had with Sanders were backing straight up when attacked and Sanders was to quick with his feet and his fists for Wlad to tie him up...

He looks to have corrected some of those issues given his performance in the 2nd Peter fight...But Peter is anything but quick with his feet or his fists...

It's why I think alot of people believe Haye has a chance, at least moreso than any opponent in a while...

When do you realize that Wlad of today is an other version!

Wlad with Emanuel Steward can not be compared with Wlad/Sdunek!!!

Wlad is better now, but still doesn't move his head and paws with the jab, which means that you can counter that and hit him. A quick and powerful puncher that is not afraid to go after him a bit, will still hit and hurt him.

    Wlad´s defensive skills are underrated.

The jab will hurt Haye and he will not be able to get past it like all other fast opponents. Byrd and Chambers are faster than Haye.

Wlad have to watsch some Lewis fight and should do the same with Haye. Catch Haye early with big and heavy shots so Haye´s speed will gone quick.
