Paul Daley On Nick Diaz: "There’s No Way He’ll Stand Up With Me"

It's very simple. You do not try and stand with Daley. If you do, you deserve to be knocked out, and you will be. Diaz is a smart guy and he knows this. He may seem hard headed and rebellious but when he gets in that cage, he knows what's up. I expect him to take Daley to the ground and either grind out a decision or finish him with a rear naked choke.

 

Diaz is almost like the Calzaghe of mma in terms of striking.

Kj noons is known for his boxing. He was beating diaz early then diaz adjusted and end up winning the fight.

Daley has not paid his dues to be considered a great striker yet. One of the most powerful punchers yes.

 

Both great strikers, the more technical striking lies with Diaz, and the power is with Daley.

Diaz must not fight stupid here... just go in & get that **** Daley to the ground, give him a couple of slaps & a bit of a beating then submit his grappless ass.

To me, that fight told me all I needed to know about this one.

 

Yeah, the people that think that Daley is an absolute beast need to watch that fight.

 

:huh Not a chance. I think Diaz is a much better all round fighter than Daley but as far as technical strking goes Daley is the best 170lbs. That left hook going backwards he KO'd Scott Smith with was technical striking at its best. The footwork and the way he shifted his weight was spectacular.

 

I feel I never know enough about how good an MMA fighter is, compaired with boxing.
