I simply stated his looks had something to do with his popularity. And i'm basing that on plenty of reports that point out Canelo bringing plenty of female fans to his fights.

Could have something to do that's he's an excellent prospect at a very young age? Yeah, right now he'd probably get smoked by the top welters/middleweights but he'd still put up a hell of a fight and might even be able to pull off an upset over someone like cotto. If he gets to be a big star thats good for the sport in general having a superstar but at the same time lets hope he earns it in the ring. Is not good when a fighter can make a lot of money fighting nobodies while others that have work hard and earned in the ring are in the sidelines and struggling to get a chance at the title.
