Now that newly crowned IBF junior welterweight champion Zab Judah has regained a world title, there is already speculation on what he’ll do next. On Tuesday, Zab stated that he’s ready to fight any of the top dogs in the 140 pound division and is looking to land “the biggest money fight.”
“The goal now is big fights,” said promoter Kathy Duva. “He’s a pay-per-view fighter and he should be in pay-per-view fights. There are a few big names out there and right now there aren’t a lot of big fights in boxing and that’s what it needs. Marquez seems to be the only one available at the moment as a pay-per-view fighter so he would be a logical choice.
“I like the Marquez fight,” commented Judah. “I like what he is. I like what he’s going to bring to the table. That’s the kind of fight I’m looking for.”
Regarding Marquez’ uncertain promotional status with Golden Boy, Duva stated “I think Marquez clearly has to sort out his promotional situation, but when he does we will be happy to offer the fight to whoever he decides he’d like us to offer it to. Zab is the champion, if Marquez is available this summer, that fits perfectly with our schedule.”

I love this fight. Should be entertaining for as long as it last. Hey Judah might even surprised us and last 12 rounds.
    Either way JMM got it.

I can see why he wants Marquez. It's a big fight that I think he has a chance in.

I think Marquez might go for it. Its a highly winnable fight for him and I'm sure he'll get paid good for it.

    What you think?

Marquez is jumping ship to Top Rank why would he waste his time on Zab :huh He wants that 3rd fight against Pac so bad he made a Mosley move from Golden Boy to TR. Plus he'll earn tenfold fighting Pac then Judah...

Very interesting fight. Not only would if be fan friendly, but a potential classic. If JMM vs Pacman doesn't happen, looking forward to this one. Or even if JMM wins or loses vs Pacman this would be one I'd like to see. Let's get it on!:bbb

Wait a second. He says he's ready for all the top 140, but then calls out a lightweight.
Give me a break. And if Judah is a PPV fighter, it's only because guys like Michael Grant apparently are too. Judah, when all is said and done, is a never has been. His most notable win was against Cory Spinks, who he also lost to. Other than that, he's fallen short in every major test he's ever had.

True, but this whole TR thing isn't official yet. We haven't even heard anything new about it since Pac/Mosley was made.

I think JMM might go for it. He'll make more than his fight with Katsidis and being that its Judah I can easily seeing this being a PPV fight which he'll get a percentage of.
