Klitschko-Haye: An absurd mismatch and hype job

What seems clear is now that its on, however those who still see this as a mismatch bang on about it - a sizeable amount of us think Haye does have a shot if he comes in with a good gameplan.. I aint a Hayetard but I do think this is far from a mismatch - especially given that we're comparing it to the years of Heavyweight title challenges when this at very least is a unification match so why not just quit the whining and accept many of us see this as a good fight. It's like people forgot Corrie Sanders and the early Sam Peters rounds ,, c'mon man.

Let me sum this fight up.


Haye has power, some speed, not much in the way of boxing skills and a weak Jaw.

Wlad has power, less speed, more skills and an extremely weak Jaw.

They're both pussies.


It could be interesting, or it could be a puss-fest. Remember, Haye did partake in a round with Harrison where they literally looked at, and circled each for 3 minutes. And we know what Wlad is like when he feels an opponent's power. I'm not optimistic.

 

Name a single person who thought Haye was effectively fighting Valuev. His defence did not consist of head movement, just sheer running around doing **** all. There is a huge difference between effective movement and just plain old running away. Again, my point stands - If Haye was on his bicycle vs. a featherfisted Valuev, what in the world does anyone expect him to do vs. Wlad?

So you expect the glass jawed ***** to run away like he did against Valuev? You know, in order to have a chance of hitting someone you have to be within striking distance and thus in the pocket at least occasionally. Sure, that may entail getting hit yourself, but its the only way to have a chance to score points or a KD. My god, all the Brits already want and expect Haye to run. Lol, low expectations indeed.

 

Heres whats funny, you guys talk about Haye's chin when you can go on YouTube and watch Wladimir flail around the ring against guys like Sanders and Brewster. You say that Haye's fights with Valuev and Harrison were terrible but Wladimir would have waited the ENTIRE fight to throw something meaningfull against both of those guys and we wont even MENTION the Ibragimov fight will we? That was an eyesore. Wladimir cant even fight in New York any more because of that fight. You talk about Haye's chin yet Wladimir cannot fight inside, hates to be rushed and has been on the canvas from LOTS of B class fighters like DaVarryll Williamson. Even the fight that Haye lost, he could have been considered the winner if the ref would have stopped it earlier because he was killing Thompson, he just ran out of gas. But he learned from that and hasnt done that since. You cant say Wladimir was winning the Sanders fight can you? Hahahahaha hell no. Wladimir doesnt like guys who move, who can hit, who are not afraid and that take the F'ing fight to him and Haye is ALL of those things. THATS why I think Haye will beat him. Now, will any or you Klit fans actually answer what I have to say this time or will it be the usual namecalling and BS?

One guy answers and says that Wladimir beat Peter and Brewster in the rematches and yet a BUNCH of guy STILL bring up the Thompson loss. And in the very next sentence, sit there and say that Wladimir's losses were "a long time ago" hahahahahaha. Do you see how ridiculous you Klit fans are? Then some guys on here even have the nerve to say that Adamek (who fought about 6 bums in a row and counting with McBide) and Briggs (who after losing to Ibragimov then fought Rob Calloway, Dominiue Alexander, Rafeal Pedro and Marcus McGee...who?, EXACTLY) are much more deserving of a shot. If Pac-man or Mayweather moved up one weight division and fought for the title right away after being champ in the lesser division nobody says a word but if Haye does it then he doesnt deserve it? All I know is, it will be the first time Haye has fought a live opponent at HW, it wont be some methodical, slow, or shot guy he can move around and utilize his speed as effectively.

 

Is he really? He looks the same to me a big guy with a decent jab who fights in straight lines and grabs and holds for dear life when he is put under any pressure.Granted he hasn`t been put under much pressure as since his losses his opponents have been carefully selected so they dont have any speed and stand right in front of him and are willing to accept clinches.

Haye will not accept clinches you can be sure of that.

I am struggling to find a stand out fight for Wlad where he has beaten a very good dangerous opponent.The fact is he hasn`t and Haye is the biggest challenge he has faced as Haye offers more than the punchbags that stand in front of Wlad waiting to be hit and accept being grabbed and held.

I really think you should think before you post as this isn`t going to be some one sided beat down,this is a competitive fight for both men and a strong case could be made for either man to win or lose.

 

I agree. Haye hasn't paid his dues as a HW, both in terms of quality of opponents and the number of fights, to be ready to compete with Wlad. No guts, no glory.

 

But tits like you have been slagging off Haye for not fighting a Klit and now he is you are still slagging him off.
