I agree... tho tbh its a fight I rarely watch because of the end result, it still pains me to this day when they declare MAB the winner, I thought Morales did enough in the last 6 rds to make up for a lacklustre first 6 rds to deserve a draw, I know Im in the minority here but my score was.....
    EM - 2,4,7,8,11,12.
    MAB - 1,3,5,6,9,10.
I thought it was the easiest fight of the trilogy to score... the hardest to score was the 1st fight IMO.

    I think I had it.

    EM - 2,7,8,11,12
    MAB - 1,3,4,5,6,9,10

Again, much closer than the consensus thinks (like fight 2), and could legitimately be scored a draw.

Yes, rds 3 & 4 were the hardest to score IMO, I gave them 1 of those rds a piece & that = a draw but if you give both rds to 1 man then you end up with 7-5, fair enough... I think the 7-5 margin is the widest any reasonable person should score this to either man tbh.

(I didnt think fight 2 was that close, I thought Morales won 8-3-1 but I know you know this already, Addie... so I`ll let it be :D)

Just a shocker. It's the closest fight of the three, in my opinion.

I had it 6 rounds each the last time I scored it, but there have been many times I've had 2 points for MAB...and I used to even see 3 points. I have never seen more than a point difference in the second fight. Not only was the decision close, but practically every round was close. Most of them relatively uneventful.

Yes, the most action packed rd of the fight was rd 12 & that was because Marco & his corner thought they needed a knockout, as did I & many others... he never got one obviously as this was prime, super-durable Morales, not the worn out Pacquiao version.

All in all, I really enjoyed the boxing skills & technique in fight 2, it showed just how complete these 2 were... if you watch all 3 fights back to back you fully appreciate just how fkn great these 2 fighters were, 2 of the best of all time IMHO.

Agreed. I think their stock will only rise as time goes by. Both fought a very impressive level of competition by contemporary standards.

I was really disappointed with the overally tactical rematch on PPV. In fact, # 2 was actually quite dull upon review...

Was it worse than Holyfield/Botha? I know you were campaigning for a rematch after that one.
