Gómez got nothing on Solís, say what you will. I'm Cuban, I saw them both move through the ranks since they were kids. Gómez vs. Solís = Gómez KO'd in less than 5.
gomez didnt even belong to HW, he moved up looking for money but besides been very skilful as a boxer didnt pack big power to deal with the big guys. agree, at HW, solis takes gomez within 5
I'm wondering where your facts came from. Those are some strong allegations to throw around, to be quite honest.
he is not a better fighter than gomez, neither better than floyd or pacman. but he is a legit HW Let me make myself clear, i'm rooting for Solis but i understand he is an underdog, just because of the size difference. In terms of skills he can deal with VK toe to toe and beat him fair and square. In favor of VK i'll say he deals pretty well with smaller fighters because knows how to use a jab,has a good chin and keeps throwing all around.
Vitali knows how to use his size against smallers fighters, he fights tall that is for sure, he try to do the same against LL but LL was as big as him, didn't work and by the end of the 6th Vitalis was holding for dear life and eating uppers in the process.
Are you ******ed? The way you measure how good a fighter is is by how fast they KO common opponents? Using that logic, Solís KOed Barrett quicker than Wlad so You must admit Solís is better.
A natural cruiserweight who was KO'd in the first round by ****ing Yanqui Díaz? Of course, you noob! Are the high schools closed or something? Why are there so many noobs around here?
So you base Gomez's career on a bad night against Diaz, and I'm the noob? (BTW I've been on ESB far longer that you'd know). My points still stand, despite your lame insult diversion tactic.
Stopped Barrett quicker than Haye as well!! All hail king Solis :happy Seriously, some of the logic in here atsch
Its about this time! Fighting Weight loves to play con in Klitschko's thread. The K-bros have won 16 matches in a row! We know you want them to lose. It must be hard being you on this topic.
Solis is based by me. He's a lot closer to 5"11 than 6'1". I think Peter who was listed at 6'1" looked taller than Solis did when he stood next to Vitali.
Maybe not, although he did knock both men down. One was a routine 8 rounder, and the other was scheduled for 12 rounds in which the fight ended before that due to Austin getting himself disqualified...
Indeed, Austin did anything he could do to not get hit anymore by Solis. He almost looked like a clown doing it, I predict a great WWE future for him. Although Odlanier should have disposed of him inside 7 to 8 rounds. And Solis also had no problems disposing of Monte Barrett inside 2 rounds. But Vitali is something completely different of course.
