My biggest "Pisser Offer" fights that had me pumped before the opening bell were:

    "Ali-Berbick" YAWN!
    "Dokes-Weaver 1" 1982
    "Spinks-Braxton" 1983 YAWN!
    Tyson-Spinks" 1988
    "Foreman-Cooper" 1989
    "Bowe-Dokes"
    "DLH-Trinidad" 1999 ZZZZZzzzz...

These are a good start on fights that I expected a whole lot more from...:fire

Spinks-Qawi was decent. Not the back and forth war many had anticipated, but I appreciated the artistry. Spinks clearly beat a H2H nightmare that night.

A pint of whiskey? You sick man. I'd have probably enjoyed Holyfield/Botha too if I was drinking that crap.

I just scored Norris in "Delta Force 2" used at the book store. It's playing now. Yes, I know the script is insane, but I care less. I like Chucky baby.

I thought the 2nd and 3rd fights were very entertaining as well. Compared to the first, they weren't close. Compared to most of the fights I watch on any given weekend, they were both better than most.

One of things you loved about this trilogy was the true, bitter hatred each man had for the other. There was no mutual respect or love for the other like with Marquez-Vasquez or Gatti-Ward.

I've read recently that they've made up and are now friends, but at the time one wouldn't have pissed on the other if he was on fire. Though one might have pissed on the other if he'd been able to knock him out.

Are you serious Bowe-Dokes? I remember everyone talking bout how washed up Dokes was and what a mismatch this would be... Dokes was also sadly out of shape...

Id say the one i was hyped up for but was a MAJOR dissapointment was Duran-Leonard III.... Duran fought with no passion and Leonard was on his bike all night... Duran had promise to put on an ass kicking and to reaveal why he said no mas the second time. Duran was also coming off a big win over Barkley i though he had been rejuvenated:-(

TITO-Oscar was dissapointing only cuz of the end and the decision , but i thought Oscar boxed beautiful for 9 rounds.... Would have been a classic from a purist stand point if not for the last 3 rounds.

Yep, Morales sure did enough in fight 2, no doubts.... boxed very well I thought, especially considering the opposition.

Morales is another guy on a fairly long list of fighters who've ruined themselves by dropping and ballooning up in weight over the years. In truth, Morales should be able to make 135 pounds here in 2011 and be fit and strong there, but when he tips in around that weight he claims he's drained. Morales has become too used to walking around in the high 140s or low 150s. Yes, he is still in decent shape at 140 pounds today, but as a fighter he is not physically strong or powerful as a Jr. Welterweight / Super Lightweight in a world class fight...

140s or 150s? I've seen between-fights pics of that guy where he has to be pushing 185.
