This would be a very good fight for both fighters. The fight popped up in my head as soon as Judah TKOd Mabuza.
I like the idea of this fight happening i really think zab would put up a good fight, sure his skills arent as good as marquez's but he has a size advantage , also I think hes been pretty rusty but im sure he can sharepn his skills up a bit if he trains hard enough. Marquez has the skills to put up a good fight against zab and didint he come in at like 143 against katsidis? im sure zab will score a flashy knock down in the early rounds, but i see marquez taking control in the mid and later rounds winning by ud
JMM is a HOF fighter in the twilight of his career and deserves better paydays than this. If he loses to Judah he's forcing himself into retirement. Too much to lose for JMM. Judah on the other hand, has a chance of winning the early rounds. If the stars align for him, and its JMM's worst day and Judah's best day, he might pull a W. I think the fight would go like this: Rnd1 Judah comes out with quick, sharp punches. JMM evades. Close round that Judah wins. Rnd2 Repeat of Rnd 1 Rnd3 Judah scores a flash knockdown. JMM rallies with great combos. Great action. 10-10 round. Rnd4 JMM adjusts and is able to defuse Judah's offense with effective counters & movement Rnds 5-7 JMM dominates with effective combos, Judah begins to lose confidence and fade Rnd 8 TKO win for JMM. Judah throws hissy fit in the ring.
great..marquez is moving to TR to make 750,000 dollars. I like Judah's callout. Its a good fight. In the end, He won't get it. He's too dangerous.
If Marquez can neutralise Zab's left hand haymakers, which shouldn't be that difficult for him as Zab is kind of predictable and no where near as versatile as Pac, he should school him to a decision. Only way Zab wins this fight is by KO in the first few rounds, which is possible with Marquez being the smaller fighter and seemingly susceptible to left hands early, being dropped early by lefts in the Pac, Mayweather and Katsidis fights. Anyway, Zab is way below Pac and Khan as a box office attraction, I can't see Marquez taking this fight when he's after a big payday.
Why wouldn't Judah call out Pac? That's the one that will make him a truly wealthy man. And it would actually give Pac a relatively (compared to Mosley or Margarito) legitimate challenge. Plus he'd get that "can't beat/won't fight a fast black guy" ****** off his back. That's the match to be made.
Judah is fast enough to give Marquez trouble. Interesting fight. I doubt Marquez would take it. He might just because he sees Judah's chin, but in all likelyhood Judah is too good for Marquez to take the chance.
I think, that's his goal. If he beats JMM, he would be considered as a serious option/challenger for Pac. I don't think JMM will take him up on it though. If JMM is actually going to TR, cashout fight with Pac is pretty much a done deal.
