Pea has greater reach than emmanuel. That Pea jab is going to be there all night and would end up forcing emmanuel to chase the Sweet!

The in ring action would play out much like Whitaker/Chavez.
Pacquiao's best chance is a gift discision.

One reason nobody ever points out, is that Raheem is a lightweight. Pac just fought his 2nd fight at 130 as an undercard against Hector Velazquez, right before the Morales-Raheem fight fought at a catchweight of 133.

Had Pac fought Raheem, not only would he be fighting at a higher weight class, he'd be avoiding a big payday rematch with Morales, and fighting for peanuts against Raheem, who in my opinion beat a Morales- who took him too lightly and wasn't fully prepared or motivated to fight him. Morales problems with self-motivation in training for certain fights has been well documented.

Though Raheem fought the fight of his life aganst Morales, he isn't a special fighter by any means, as evidence of his loss against Acelino Frietas, a pure brawler, in his very next fight.

Sure it was a bad loss for Morales.. But I think Morales not making weight on the first try at a higher weight shows what kind of state he was in heading into that fight..

As you said look what happened to Raheem after, it's not like the guy was on this phenomenal streak..

he got one big win. You can't take it away from him because he's in the books for that one win, but also don't make it more than it was..

Not even close. Whitaker is the greatest defensive fighter I have seen. Not even Mayweather comes close. Pea would make the Ped man look silly.

By the way I want to commend this thread.... Seems like most people here feel the same that Whittaker would certainly be a bogey man for Pacman... Although Pac is much more complete of a boxer now, his left straight is still his main punch and feel a prime Sweet pea would have the upper body movement and legs to "swim without getting wet" :)
