Taking into account DLH's overall physical advantages or disadvantages, closeless to prime form, his performance, his opponent's performance, and the final results, which of these victories over DLH were you LEAST impressed with and why? Trinidad Hopkins Mayweather Pacquiao Mosley II
Its a very good question. Trinidad didn't really beat him, that said, Dela Hoya left the judges with a negative impression in the latter part of the fight, while Tito tried to pour it on. Mayweather did't look good but by the same token, I also think Oscar performed very well in that fight, so........ Mosley II, Mosley looked terrible in that fight, he almost didn't adapt at all, just tried to force the issue by doing the same thing over and over, and I had him losing the fight to. I might go... Mosley 2, as he looked rubbish trying to figure Oscar out, and I felt Oscar got even more of a raw deal here, more so than the Tito fight, cause Oscar gave the judges no reason not to award his opponent the fight. Mayweather second, simply because if Oscar had been a little more consistent, he might have actually taken the win. I dont think either Oscar or Tito looked great overall, as it was such an anti climatic fight.
Well floyd, tito, hopkins, shane all beat him whilst he was a champion. So i'm gonna say pac's victory is the one held with the least esteem.
Pac because they think beating that oscar is the same as beating the prime version of him and they never take into account at what point in DLH's career he faced pac.
Trinidad's win without a doubt. Most people knew exactly who won the fight, despite Oscar throwing away the late rounds. A rematch would have been necessary. Pacquiao's win over Hoya is what I considered an overrated win.
Mosely II IMO. DLH deserved that decision...especially when it was found out later on that Mosely was taking PED's
Can I ignore that list and say Felix Sturm? 'cause he didn't really win.. against vastly inferior opposition. I remember watching that night, being new to boxing, and feeling very disappointed.
Mosley 2. I think Oscar worked really hard for that one and deserved it. Tito as well, though Oscar did **** up at the end. However, that does not mean Tito deserved the CAREER DEFINING win. It's more like Oscar lost that fight because he was taught a lesson by judges, not because Tito won. Of the two though, Mosley 2 was just wrong in every way.
In order of Least impressive to most impressive: Trinidad - He didn't win Mosley II - He didn't win Hopkins - frame of a lt heavy, Hoya was prime at WW. Awesome win Hopkins!! :goodatsch Pacquaio - Fought the worst version of Delahoya ever, however did dominate him the most Floyd - Came up to 154, fought a very game (not prime) Hoya and won a close decision Mosley I - Came up in weight and beat a prime delahoya.
