While the contestants of the Super Six have been fighting the very best in the division, Bute has completely failed to compete at the high level of competition as Kessler, Frock, Ward, Dirrell, and AA.
If Bute should ever meet any of the Super Six finalists, I highly doubt that he will be near effective enough to win against Ward or Dirrell, but may have a chance to win against the lower level talent of the tournament such as AA, or Kessler, but I highly doubt it.

    In 4 years, this is all Bute has accomplished;

    Jesse Brinkley
    Edison Miranda
    Librado Andrade
    Fulgencio Zuniga
    William Joppy
    Sakio Bika

There is no way in hell that someone with so weak competition as above can come in and defeat elite fighters who have been competing at the highest level, fighting the best opponents.

Bute is just a hype based on nothing but air. :yep

All the guys of the super 6 were exactly like Bute BEFORE going into the super six...+ Bute has beat Miranda, Bika and Andrade easily while Ward struggled with a past his prime Bika and was'nt even able to wobble Miranda while Bute destroyed him...

Every one of those guys in the tournament, including Ward, had resume's that weren't so great. He went on to fight Kessler in a huge step up in competition and beat him. Why couldn't it be the same for Bute? He'll take that step up soon enough, just like everyone else in the competition has.

I genuinely think people are going to get their mouth shut regarding Bute.

It's all speculation as always... Not many here were picking Ward to beat Mikkel Kessler, nevermind dominate the fight from start to finish.

The only thing we do know, it's that Bute has some serious skills and on any given night those very skills can defeat any man in the division. If he does it or not is another story...

He's knocking them all out though and outclassing them. To say Bute in not on the level of the Super Six is laughable.

Boxers are fighting in the rink, not their résumé...

Doesn't matter what they were before the tournament. It's today we are discussing, and today each one of the Super Six contestants over the last 2 years has met and fought much better competition than Bute has.
Seems to me that Bute has just been sitting around waiting time while the tournament progresses.
No way in hell Bute beats any of them with the exception of those who weren't too good from the get-go. I.E., Kessler, Green, AA. :yep

Perhaps, but that "feeling" isn't based on any of Bute's in-ring accomplishments. He really has none worth mentioning.
It's all based on baseless EMOTION.

As is apparent, Bute has made no serious statement in his ring experience. This thread and my forecast is based on Bute's idleness and fear (failure) of stepping up.:yep

I think it's more a case of Bute not having many options at SMW because of the top guys being in the tournament for so long. Those guys may have more experience fighting top guys but it may not mean much when they're finally in the ring. We don't know the full capabilities of Bute yet. We'll see, and I wish Bute luck.

Carl Froch??? Who as Froch beaten before going in the Super Six? Only Jean Pascal who was unproven at the time + zombified Robin Reid and DESCENT Brian Magee...

Arthur Abraham??? Unproven at SuperMiddle...We all saw what happened when he got tested by a true supermiddleweight...

Andre Direll??? Biggest win before the Super Six: Anthony Hanshaw:rofl

Jermaine Taylor??? Like Abraham unproven at SuperMiddle with only ONE win at 168 against dead man walking Lacy and he even got wobbled once in that fight...Before that back to back losses(+ one by brutal KO) against beer-drinking Pavlik...

Andre Ward??? His biggest win before the Super Six was Edison Miranda who was brutally KO'ed two times (Pavlik and Abraham) before facing Ward and Ward was'nt even able to wobble him slightly while Bute utterly destroyed him...

Mikkel Kessler??? IMO the most acomplished fighter of the Super Six...Before the Super Six his best wins were against Andrade(whom Bute beat twice easily beside the 12th round of their first fight),a small feather-fisted Anthony Mundine(whom kessler struggled ''a little'' to beat)A weak and small Marcus Beyer and an old washed-up Eric Lucas who was having healt problems at the time of the Kessler fight...

No one of these fighters besides Kessler were more accomplished than Bute before going into the Super Six...FACT:hi::deal
