The case can be made Pac's physical prime never coincided with his skills prime.
So the argument goes both ways.
Pac in his early twenties (physical prime for lower weight clases) was a hungry left hand slugger that learned his craft in the ring.

Had he been allowed to sharpen his boxing in the amateurs like Pea was, and start as a pro with all the skills learned from Roach, he probably would never have lost a rd in his career.

How does fare Pea against that Pac ?

    I rest my case.

i think it will be times Pac looks foolish..maybe quite a bit but i think there will be times where Pac catches his attention and everyone elses.

Pac lets his hands go in bunches which will give many opportunities for both to showcase their brilliance....so i guess it comes down to who's is actually better...Pac's offense vs Pea's illusiveness......i think we see a good mix of both shinning in spurts of the fight....but ultimately i think Pac catches Pea with something that grabs his attention and he goes to work builds a lead and once he gains momentum...we may see him outclass Pac more often than not.

I see this scenario as the most likely to happen.

Whitaker wasn't prime during the DLH fight.

Whitaker also had a better offense and a higher workrate than Mayweather.

I didn't say he was. I said that the fight would go similar. Also, I disagree with you on the offense part. I think Pernell had faster hands than Floyd, but Floyd had the edge in both the power and the accuracy department. Floyd picks his shots perfectly. Oddly enough, part of Mayweather's defense is his offense. He's so unpredictable that you never know what punch he's going to throw and he almost always lands.

Pernell threw a good amount of punches, but sometimes he was more content to just make his opponent look foolish instead of throwing punches in return. He did it against Oscar, Nelson, McGirt, Ramirez, and a lot of his other big fights. A lot of judges don't appreciate that. Against a fighter like Manny, they'll most likely give him points for aggression. Sweet Pea will always be moving backward and Manny will always be moving forward. When judges see this the whole fight, they'll most likely give it to Manny. I'm not saying it's right, I'm just saying it's the most likely scenario.
