    If you can't gauge Bute's skills based on the fighter he has fought, why do you say he isn't on the level of the S6ers? If I can't gauge Bute's skills, neither can you.

    I've not saying Bute has beaten the top dogs but your thread is BS because if we'd go with your logic anybody before the super six was ****:-(...Its not because Bute ain't in the Super Six that he can't compete with the level of these guys...Im so eager this ****in Super Six ends so Bute can whoop the winner and **** in your face....That day I will be the first on this forum laughing at your dumbness...

    I can't gauge your skill level either, but it's a safe bet and well within long odds that you aren't at elite skill level either.

    You fools are hyping Bute as if he were an elite, but for the life of me, I have seen no elites Bute has defeated. In fact, I don't see where he has even faced even one in his entire so-called, career.

    Sounds like you guys are filled with HOPE and Wishful thinking (praying?), as usual. :rofl

    Just because he hasn't beaten a top fighter doesn't mean he can't compete with them. Complete lack of logic on the part of the OP.

    Ok... I see you don't understand my post.

    You tell me I can't say Bute would beat a S6er because he doesn't have a good enough resume. But not having as good a resume as your opponent doesn't mean you can't beat him. Kessler's resume was better than Ward's when they fought. Prior to the fight, a lot of people thought Ward didn't have enough experience to beat Kessler. But he did.

    Now people are saying Bute doesn't have a good enough resume (experience against elite fighters) to beat Ward. Experience is a factor, but it doesn't mean Bute can't beat him. I'm not saying Bute would beat Ward, but you can't rule it out because his resume isn't on par with Ward's.

    Ali didn't have as good a resume as Sonny Liston. But he beat him.

    Facing lesser fighters doesn't make you a worse fighter by itself. It shows that you are better than those fighters, but not that you are worse than a better one (compared to the lesser fighers).

    Is it that hard to understand? I guess it is for you, since you can't even make a logical argument.

    No, it has nothing to do with resume.

    A resume is a record of the past. Of your past accomplishments.
    Bute has no resume simply because he has failed to step up to create one.

    Has Bute fought anyone of the caliber of a Taylor? Nope. Could he have? Certainly.

    How about an Alan Green? Nope.
    Could he have? Definitely.

    If Bute were a serious contender, he would have been in the Super Six.
    His not being there is like an elite golfer who has never played in a major tournament.
    Even worst, he fails to find meaningful fights while the SS proceeds. How does he do this?
    Easy. Like other fighters who have barriers to overcome, as Hopkins did when King and the networks worked to lock him out.
    Bute doesn't have this compelling desire like a BHOP. He has faced no one relevant contenders, yet his fans believes he could beat the best who have. LOL! :rofl

    I can't wait to see this fool to finally step up to elite competition and get KTFO. I expect to collect a wad of Canadian cash. :good
